So I sent an email to Katie and Karliegh yesterday, but I'm not sure they got it. I figured they get a lot of emails a day, so mine might not get read, but I REALLY want this to be seen. Okay, here's what I wrote to them:
The Jonas Brothers have focused so much on us, the fans, and continued to put out song after song for us. They work themselves to death, and I really think we owe them a thank you, but it has to be something truly AMAZING!
JDRF (The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation), has this amazing walk every year to help raise money for research which will eventually lead to a cure. I walked last year for my mom's work, but in my mind I was walking for Nick Jonas. This year, JDRF is holding Walks to Cure Diabetes all over the country and I've been thinking. I think that we, the fan community, should create "Team Jonas" shirts, and have a team at each of these walks. If we could have even one single Team Jonas walker at every walk, it would be beyond amazing. It would require the invention of a new adjective!
This fan base the Jonas Brothers have built has crashed MTV.com, upstaged Hannah Montana and got them to Oprah, what's a little disease to us? I know we can make the biggest difference that JDRF has ever seen, so LET'S DO IT! Thank you SO much!
To all of the fans: You know how amazing we can be when it comes to the Jonas Brothers. All I want to do is thank them for it, and they BEYOND deserve it. So click on the link and look for a walk in your area. I am working on registering a Team Jonas at every single location, so if you don't see a Team Jonas in the Choose Your Team box, go ahead and create one. I am so happy right now because while I've been registering, I've seen some other Team Jonases, so I'm not the only one trying to make this happen! Fans are amazing, and like I said to Katie and Karliegh, who says we can't cure diabetes?
