Ok, slowly my mum gets tired, too... She actually thought it was funny how I adore Nick, but now... I got my 20th poster today (my room is very small, so this is really a lot) and of course put it on my wall... My timetable is hanging on my door, nearly scraching the floor, lol, because my whole door is full with pics of JB. And I have small Nick pics all over my furniture.
So she came in and wanted to look at my timetable. She stared at my door with a look I can't describe, lol. Then she stared at the new posters with the same look, but she didn't say a word. Then she wanted to shut my window and noticed the Nick pic on the window frame. And she shouted "Could you PLEASE spare the furniture with that... GUY?!" and she said "guy" in a really derogatoey way, so of course I got angry and defended the "guy" and we had an argument and so on and so on... *sigh*
well my mum knows i have OJD but its not that well known in england. But my room is still covered, sometimes a JB advert comes on the TV and my mums like why dont you buy that? Im like ive already got it! haha, and then sometimes when she wakes me up on a morning she asks something random about JB like which one has diabetes? -Nick. Mum-Oh i think he looks the fit-healthiest. Im sure she was going to say fittest. Haha, im always blasting JB out but she doesnt get that fussed. :)
My mom is pretty cool about it. She watched the entire hour of Jonas Brothers: Live @ Much with me (the second time), and she watches their interviews and performances when they're on. And Camp Rock too. She compliments their style and hair, and always comes to see new posters in my room. She makes fun of me when I scream and cry when I see them on T.V., but she is supportive too. She made me a gift basket when I got my braces off that included a Jonas magazine. And, she sings When You Look Me In The Eyes sometimes.
I guess I'm pretty lucky. Well, I've rambled enough...
My mom likes them. XD
My dad's pretty indifferent, but I think he likes them secretly, too. XD
I'm always like "Mom? Dad? I'm gonna marry one of them, kay?" and they're like "Okay." XD
my brother hates them! he bought me a purity ring and he made me promise not to say jonas brothers around him so i say camp rock dudes around him. and he cant say anything about it!!! XP XD
My mom is pretty supportive of my OJD, but my dad is sick and tired of them. I don't really care tho (unless he says something mean about them).
My mom's okay about it. She doesn't mind if I sit there with her and watch Living the Dream or other interviews that I've seen more than too many times (I don't think there's such thing, but) and she doesn't care that my entire walk-in-closet has posters of them plastered all over my walls or that I talk about them at least every other conversation I have with her. Sometimes, she'll ask me random questions about them in the car and I am very surprised she knows so much about them! (I caught her once humming a Camp Rock song, lol) And she'll joke about my obsession with her friends and make fun of me and my best friend who is also insane about them.
My dad hates them. He has called me obsessed before and told me I need to listen to better music, and he's insulted them more than once, which usually followed up with me giving him the silent treatment, but oddly enough, when my dad was talking about them badly, my mom was sticking up for them and telling my dad that they are good influences. lol!
god i hate that! its bad enough not having someone to obsess over them with, but to have everyone telling you to get over it?! well, youll always have us. X]
well i just got into JB like a lot (ik its sad) and i got the CD (if you no where i can find the first CD PLEASE tell me!!!) and posters and EVERYTHING and she said "ya know, mileys cool too. why not go to her?" lol
