My dad says that my obsession is a faze!! I keep telling him it's not, it's here to stay. But he's like, "that what you said about Hannah Montana, and now you don't like her at all". And I'm like, "so. I'm in love with JB and I'm obsessed, and OJD is permanent." Then my dad said, "so who's it going to be next? Alvin and the Chipmunks, that band that you said is like JB and that that Mandy girl is dating one of the members?" Then I was like "Dad, you're crazy"
He just doesn't get it.
Does anyone else's parents say that?
more than you know. my brother did. i might be switching schools next year and my bro and i were talking about it and he was like: "before you go, you really need to drop this jonas brothers thing." i stared at him in disbelief and was freaking out saying that its impossible. nope not gonna happen. then also i told my mom that i NEED to get the new jb cd the day it comes out and she was like "yeah if you even like them that long." and i was like ARE YOU KIDDING!?!?!??!?! and i understand the hannah thing cause i used to like her but now i dont. AT ALL. shes been sucked into hollywood. plus she went out with nick. any girl that gets to hang out with nick is on my list haha
oh for sure..... my parents (especially my dad too!) think my sister and i are going through a crazy phase and we will soon come to our senses and enjoy npr and football like him someday.....but hold onto these immortal jb words--
"I am what i am, I can't help myself, and if you don't like it get with somebody else, i'll never change my ways, it's not a phase, this is how it is right up until my dying day!"
