I think of several things

One is my aunt who died back in September. I miss her a lot, and wish I'd appreciated her a little bit more

Another is the kids who've died at my school. Every year since 3rd grade, I've had someone in my class die. In 3rd grade the kid had cancer, 4th it was a car accident, and 5th was an accident that's really intense and i don't really want to post it on here. I wish I'd gotten to know them all better, even though they were all in my classes.

Another is when my sister was in the hospital for a long time getting surgery and she almost died and stuff. I was only about 3 or 4, but I remember how hard it was for my family and stuff.

And finally, my dad. He's still here, don't worry, but he was in the army for 22 years. He was gone 16 months to Korea, 13 to a country that I can't spell, but it's around Korea, and 2 years in Afghanistan, which was his most recent tour. Korea and the other country happened when I was under 5 years old. Afghanistan started about a month and a half after Christmas in 3rd grade, and went until September of 5th grade. It was really hard when he was gone, because he was also gone for shorter trips in between those. And I was always worrying when he was in Afghanistan because of what you hear on the news and stuff. But everything was ok. He's back, and in perfect health. We were really lucky. Now, he flies Air Evac which is like Life Flight for hospitals and stuff, because he retired from the army. I still worry, but not as much, because I know that he's safer here.

That's what I think of. Its a beautiful song. i love it so much It's on my iPod, and i'm actually listening to it. :)

It's me think of my dad. He is not with us anymore. He's in eternity, and I will see him when I go to eternity.

It also makes me think of the people who died in our world or are suffering. They have got to wait till kingdom come for a cure and many just don't make it.

Not only does this song touch me in the way, but so does Eternity and Appericiate. Take a Breath sort of does too. I am privleged to be alive and I take it for granted. Maybe I should start praying more...

I think of Lung cancer. No, I don't have it, but it does run in my dad's side of the family. My grama has it, her father(who also happened to be my best friend) and so on. My grama isn't doing too well, so when I'm feeling especially pessimistic about her sickness, I listen to A Little Bit Longer, Eternity, and Hold On.

I think of how much I don't really appreciate the things I have until they're gone. Like my great grandfather, as I said before, he was my best friend until the age of 8, when he died on the 1st anniversary of September 11. I was told that he died peacefully in his sleep, but recently, I just found out that he died from his lung cancer, so that got me really worried about my grama, and for my dad and his siblings, even though the younger generation don't have it.

i think about my scoliosis.

which is a generic disease ive had for the past 6 years. i wore a brace to try and correct it. it seriously killlleeddd my confidence and all that jazz.

and last week i went to the doctor, expecting it to be my last visit since im done growing and everything, and it turns out that the curve prgressed a little bit which isnt great, and he was like "you have to come  back once more so we can check" and i was super bummer because i thought it was done. and so on the way home i had little bit longer on repeat hahaa

waiting on a cure, but none of them are sure

a little bit longer, and i'll be fine.

even though i'll never bee " fine" but it does help. =]

i think about a lot of things... serious stuff like what i take for granted everyday, and what nick has to deal with having diabetes (it runs in my fam but i don't have it)... but it also helps me get through my day.. like a little bit longer and i'll be home, or a little bit longer and i'll be with my friends, or off from work... etc (hold on makes me think of that stuff too lol like hold on and it'll be okay...)

i LOVE the end of the song... the so i'll wait till kingdom come all the highs and lows are gone.. just makes me think about heaven and not having to see or suffer from disease or just pain in general.. thats an amazing song.. i love how nick is the youngest yet he wrote sos and a little bit longer... he has SO much talent! i'm amazed at how gifted he is with music.. he's truly blessed... (well all of them are talented but you know what i mean)
