i donno it's just something that i don't find important and imo noone should and it just irritates me.

Aren't all Disney channel made movies about wanting to be popular? Outcased people who want to part of something and then figure out what's really inside them. Then, the popular crowd accepts them for who they really are.
Most of them are about the people that are 'different' but then get there in the end To be popular and all that shizz.
High school musical wasn't about being popular.
I know... But it's like why ON EARTH didn't the popular crowd accept them BEFORE? Of course thats' the whole point of the movie.
I think it's kinda pathetic, but I'm still exited for Camp Rock.

cuz like seriously anyone & everyone i know can relate including me even if they wont admit it(actually when I was watching it I realted SOOOO much to demi's charachter mitchie its was kinda scary lmao)
I agree. I like these kind of movies and I love that CR has this theme in it too because at the end of the day the message of standing out will never get old. You should be true to yourself and stand out and I think it's great that this is always a big theme in DCOMs because it reminds people how important it is to stay true to yourself.
I related to Mitchie's character so much too. Personally, whether I'm popular or not doesn't bother me and I couldn't care less who is. But I think CR is including finding yourself through not being popular because a lot of kids care whether or not they're popular and care what others think of them. Mitchie shows that it's ok to be yourself and ok, granted CR is using the popularity theme again and it could be seen as cliche, but it's a good message to send out.
Sorry for the rant. I was planning on just a couple of lines but it turned into that.

well thats life. thats how it is in real life. most people want to be popular. the movie is showing you that you dont have to be with the in crowd to be someone. thats the whole point of the story. be who your are...not who others want you to be.
it sort of was. Troy had to face peer pressure problems because the musical wasn't "cool enough" for the jocks to do
