From time to time we need to reiterate what is proper behavior on the forums. Here are some rules and guidelines for you to follow when posting in the forums:

• DO NOT POST PROFANITY or continue someone else's profanity. For example, many of you are posting links to YouTube videos that insult the boys, do not propagate those comments -- don't give them a spotlight here.
• FAN FICS - We're not the biggest fan of fan fics, but many people like them so we made a place for you to post them. DO NOT POST ANY FAN FICS OF A SEXUAL NATURE, any fan fics that violate this rule will be removed and your account can get locked. We have people of all ages and want to keep this a family friendly site.
• Please refrain from knocking another artist because you don't like them. It's OK to have an opinion, but please don't use the word "I HATE" so and so. Hate is a strong word and stirs emotions in people - DON'T USE IT. We had some Miley, AJ, and other stars being disrespected, remember they worked hard to get where they're at.
• DO NOT START RUMORS - a few posts had to be removed because people were starting rumors over the Jonas Brothers, or friends of their's. DON'T DO IT, they are people just like you and me and have feelings, please be considerate for them.
• DO NOT SPAM this site. We allow you to post your URL to your personal site below your avatar, but don't use JonasBrothersFan.com as your personal advertising campaign.
• Cyber bullying will not be tolerated. Do not post here with an agenda to hurt another person on this site. Show respect for your fellow Jonas Brothers Fans.
• Do not post obscene materials to this site or links to them.
• Do not post links to copyrighted materials - this could be software, or music files. Remember the artists earn a living by the music they create.

Violation of these simple rules and guidelines can get you banned and your IP blocked from accessing this site.

The main thing is to have fun and talk with others who have the same interest as you do. Keep it clean.

thank u soooooooooo much for making these rules.........im glad u did because a lot of people have been dissing Miley big time and i wasnt happy cuz im a Miley fan and it's not fair for her to be dissed at when she didnt do anything to anyone........well, thanks again and thanks for making this the best fansite i can go to get info on JB!!!
