ok so my avvie on the left corner is grey even when i upload it. (at least i think? unless its just my computer. if it is, just let me know)
do you use files that are saved on your computer to upload or do you put in the link from like photobucket or wahtever?

oh and i have another question that totally isnt related to avatars. its about my signature...how do you make the links clickable? like my one shot link is in the signature, but what do you put around it that makes it turn pink so that you can click it....or have the name there instead of the URL link....sorry if thats confusing, but i need help with that too.

Yes, you should upload your avatar. You just hit the "browse" button and upload it. What type of picture is the avatar? .JPGs work the best. Usually animation and .png's don't upload or work... I'm not sure why. And if it doesn't work you usually just get an "X", a "gray square", or a really grainy avatar. So if it is not a .JPG try to convert it to, and upload it to the site :)

so i fixed my avvie and i did the link thing. but i have another question....i'm sorry!
in the signature, when i make spaces, it doesnt show up correctly. they're smushed together. sorry, i'm not the best explainer. like...it wont have the spaces or the new line. i dunno if thats how it works with everyone, but i dont like it. is there like something that works like an enter key?

Yes, I had the same problem, but it looks like you figured it out. At the end of your picture you put <br> which means to skip the next text you add to the next line. If you put <br><br> That will skip a full line.
To explain how it would look ;
If you just add <br> between the two pics;
And if you add <br><br> in between;

Also;
<center> ALL YOUR SIGGY </center> --> That will center all of your siggy.
