So I totally thought that I the boy I like liked me back because he's always hanging out with me, stays at my house until like midnight on weekends, holds my hand, and is always making fun of me, always jokes about how we should go out, that kinda stuff.
And then yesterday, we were outside for one of our classes and this girl walks by, one of his good friends, and he hugs her and I think "Ok, nothing unusual about that." but as soon as she walks away he's like "Yeah that's my girlfriend. But I wish you were my girlfriend." and I look up at him like "What?!" and he's like "Just kidding." I wasn't really sure if that was supposed to be a joke or what but it really hurt.
Then after school we were hanging out and he put his arm around me and then he said "I probably shouldn't do this, people will think we're going out." and I said really meanly "Yeah, especially because you have a girlfriend." and he said yeah and moved his arm.
Arg. I am so confused. Sunday he was holding hands with me and then BAM the next day he has a girlfriend. What the heck? I'm so confused and hurt and frustrated. Any thoughts on what I should do or think or what his deal is? Thanks for listening by the way, it helps to talk about it.
