Well, i know im probably gonna sound like a big nerd throughout this whole post, but i need help.

Ok, well im homeschooled..and i ALWAYS have to get good grades, because i want to go somewhere with my life, and i want my parents to be proud of me.

and i try extremely hard with my schooling and im a grade higher than i should be.

but see, i have A.D.D and my parents are never rly home, so i cant rly concentrate on my work a lot.

anyways, so ive been doing this algebra, and i dont know how to do it, i try and try and TRY and i can never get it right.

and ive looked all over the internet for help, and i still cant get any help.

and if i dont finish soon, im gonna be in trouble, but i have no one to help me with it.

so, if you know how to do it, PLEASE help me.

ok, so here's what it is.

its called; solving equations containg polynomials

these are two of the main problems i dont know how to do

r+3(x+1)+7=24

they;re saying the answer is -1.

but i have NO clue how there getting it :[

and then this one; m+2(m+7)+3(m+6=2

and they're saying the answer is -5

and i dont know how there getting that either :\

please, please, help me. :[

For the first problem, is there anymore information? Because with two variables (x and r), there should be a second equation or else it's pretty much impossible to solve. Also, I think you may have typed the problem wrong, but I could be wrong. Because if there are two variables, then there would also be two answers.

And the second equations was easy for me. I'll type out the steps.

m + 2(m+7)+3(m+6)=2

m + 2m + 14 + 3m +18 = 2 (Use destributive property)

6m + 32 = 2 (Added like terms)

6m = -30 (Subtracted 32 from both sides)

m = -5 (Divided each side by 6)
