I went to the orthodontist today and was expecting to get my braces off. They didn't take them off, so I was like oh well, next time. And they said something was wrong with a tooth or something and now they have to "expose" it which is probably really painful. AND that means I'll have my braces on for like another 9 freakin' months.
And I've had my braces for 3 years already.

Argg, I was hoping to get them off before I got to see JB, not that I was gonna meet them or anything.
There's always something wrong with my teeth.
Aw. I feel for you. I had braces for 4 years, and before that when I was little I had to have my upper mouth cracked open because my top teeth didn't fit over my bottom.
Needless to say, it paid off. I have REALLY straight teeth now.
So, all I can say is to stick with it, 'cause it will be worth it!

Aw, i'm sorry about the braces, but the tooth exposure doesn't hurt very much at all.
I had one done a couple years ago, and it only hurts just a little bit after the numbing stuff wears off, and it's only a littl ebit of tenderness, after that the only weird thing is that sometimes you have to pull out a few stitches yourself if they dissolve before they take them out, but even that doesn't hurt.
You should ask them to give you valium before you go in for the surgery, it will calm you down. I took it before i went because i always get really nervous really easily, and i felt pretty good before i went.

Like i guess it woudn't be so bad, but having my tooth exposed sounds really painful. I can't even stand gettin cavities filled.
I promise you it won't be painful.
