Yeah, my grandfather passed away, and I was really close to him, so I'm kind of really upset. It hasn't totally hit me yet that I won't ever see him again, but it will, I'm sure. And when it does, I'm sure it will hit hard.  So I won't be on for a few weeks, I think. I might be on, but I'm spending time with my family for the next few days, and for the services.

I'll miss you all.

Dear Addie (Danger Twin),

I know its hard to lose someone. Especially in your immediate family. Everything floods back at once - the memories, the laughter, the tears, the way they made you feel like you were the best granddaughter in the world, and the times where you knew they were looking out for you - because they knew you were their next generation - and you think, "Its gone. It's never coming back."

They are always right there - look inside you, look beside you - a piece of them is there. Sitting, watching you type. Looking out for every little thing you happen to accomplish in your life - and know that they're probably sitting there, smiling and laughing with you, and crying and learning with you as well.

As time goes on, things change - we change. But they never truly leave, as long as one shred of them is still present inside your heart, guiding you as the light I'm sure they represent to you. It's gonna be tough. It's gonna be rough. And your gonna remember everyhting at the worst possible time.

But no time is the worst - because they are always sitting there with you, and are so proud of what you've done, that it's all worth the suffering - because they want you to know that they are there for you, even when you can't see them.

And sometimtes, that feeling is so overwhelming, and so beautiful, you feel - almost invisibly protected. And I want you to know, that even when it seems like, "Oh my gosh - its over. They've gone. What do I do?" They're whispering in your ear, "Keep going. Keep going."
