I met Patch Adams! for those of you who don't know who he is he is a doctor that is also a clown. His clinic uses humor to deal with it's patients. he willingly commited himself to a mental ward.
he is a really great guy! there was even a movie made about him starring robin williams that i definatly suggest checking out v there is the link to his campagin! you should totally go and check it out :]

when i first me this i was like, "uhh, i think spencer's crazy. that was robin williams dressed as a clown/doctor in that movie..."

and how did he end up committing himself (note: i never actually watched the movie)??
haha he comes to my job(the maryland renaissance festival) once in a while like maybe one or two weeknds out of the season and walks around and sits at a hat seller right by my job so i walked over and was like "hey! whats shakin?" and he laughed at me :]
and actually i don't remember...i haven't watched the movie in a while to be honest...and i can't entirely remember...but i'll look it up...or ask him tomorrow lol
