Seriously that's all they did was promote. I don't know about the other chats, but i didn't remember all of that. Hey, I understand the business, but it was completely obnoxious. I hated the dates shoved in my face and the wishes to download!!!download!!! their song. We as fans will do our part.
I dunno it just really pissed me off. Maybe im the only one that feels this way. But I really do love them to death and i loved the sample songs, but i felt the fans questions were pushed back most of the time. Maybe this is what the chat was all about. Maybe I missed the memo

They answered a couple of questions, & the rest of the time was basically about promoting their album & download & blah blah. Which i cant be mad at tho, have u seen this site?? This used to be HEAVEN for all Jonas Brothers fans & now its deserted..no1 comes on anymore, only on their facebook & maybe their myspace, so in my opinion the Jonas fans r gettin a lil lazy, which i know i am too...& im tryin to change tht. But i also heard theyre trying to change their sound to fit a more 'older' audience, which im also not mad @ cus im 18 & its about time tht they start maturing :]
But anywho, i completely agree, i just think maybe they noticed tht the JO BRO fans were gettin lazy & just wanted to remind?
I completely respect your opinion and I'm hoping no one else is going to be all like "OMG YOUR SUCH A BAD FAN SHUT UP HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT". Honestly though, I'm half and half It kinda bothers me when most of the time all they want to do is promote things but at the same time it didn't bother me, i really liked the chat for some reason joe is hilarious haha, and they do promote on most of their live chats anyway, so I wasn't suprised.
I totally get what you mean. But I didn't pay attention, really. I was like, "So.. they're kind of promoting alot.. but whatever." But I did really like the chat. Joe cracked me up. xD I don't know.. I hope next time they do more chatting with the fan and less promoting.

the promoting didn't bother me. they're proud of the work they've done and want to get it out to people. sure they're fun, down-to-earth guys, but they're also professional musicians under a major record label. i also think it's awesome they wanted to share clips with of their new songs.
the first chat they did in january was a bit too uptight, i'll admit. but this recent one was a lot more laid back, and sometimes goofy, especially when joe attacked nick with all the hugs =) i'm very glad to see them having a good time!!
it makes me sad, but they do seem to be promoting a lot. i wish i could just tell them to relax because they have nothing to worry about. they don't need to promote so much. they're trying to control so much and it's better when they don't. i don't blame them, though. it would be kind of a natural human feeling to want your album, or whatever, to do well. but again, they just don't need to and the fans like it better when they don't. i think being their goofy selves is better promotion, ya know? ;) i haven't watched the live chat yet, but it sounds like it was funny. and as long as i can tell that they're still the same people and not robots, them i'm fine.
but it is sad to see that people don't come on as much. i wish they still did. i hate how half the message board is haters. SOOOOO DUMBBB.
