please bear with me. am i the only one w/ mixed feelings on camp rock/j.o.n.a.s.?

i am so happy and proud of jb but i really wish disney would rid me of the anticipation of jb becoming real "disney stars". this may sound weird, but i want the hype to be over, but disney is purposfully waiting months to air the movie. which means we have to watch the coming of loads of advertisements on t.v. and all. the ads for hsm2 were so repetitive i was almost sick of watching them. i see the future of the whole jonas-disney thing and don't like it.

i know jb will continue writing amazing music and all, but disney may make them jokes. they are professionals and i hope they are treated as such. i read somewhere that disney is hoping camp rock is the next hsm, and they are already planning on selling the ridiculous merchandise. we all know once disney is finished with jb they'll be dropped fast, but i know jb continue to be successful because they don't need some silly tv channel to make them amazing since they rose to fame on their own talents. i don't think jb realizes that they may be taken advantage of...who doesn't want to see 3 hot singers on t.v., you know?

i am not trashing jb at all and support their work 100%!!! i am just very frustrated with the disney channel right now and needed to get that out. thanx for listening!

i still totally agree w/ you. i'm so glad that other people are now getting to experience them thanx to the disney channel, but i still have mixed feelings about people thinking they are just like hannah montana and all, which they are not.  it's just all the silly merchandise and stuff that comes along with it that i'm a bit against, but i can't control that.

they've worked hard to get to where they are and deserve the recognition, too, and the publicity disney gave them is helping them gather fans and get that recognition. and i discovered jb with the hold on music video, so my kudos do go to disney. i just don't always agree w/ the way disney handles their stars sometimes.

but sorry if i hurt anyones feelings by my tirade...i just get annoyed by some of the disney stuff sometimes because it's, like, taking over the universe. i'll still watch camp rock/j.o.n.a.s. to support jb and for entertainment's sake.

disney will milk those boys for all they've got.

The more popular the jobros are, the more money the jobros make, the more money they make - disney makes even more.

So you know - I don't see disney stringing them lose any time soon - However! I'm sure it's a fun ride for everyone involved anyway.
