So today, a girl in my spanish class was walking by me when I was at my locker (which is smothered in Jonas Brothers pics) see's them and litterally sticks her head in my locker and says "YOU like the Jonas Brothers?!?! Alot of girls like the Jonas Brothers, but YOU?!?!?!" And then it hit me, do you have to be a certain kind of girl to like love the Jb?
then the guy who has his locker next to me said they had horrible hair.
I hit him.

No, you don't have to be a "ceartin kind of girl" to be a fan--JB loves ALL thier fans, (except maybe the stalkers who try to crash into thier tour bus...)
i'm a smart (not to brag) and rational person with normal hobbies but i am EXTREMELY OJD, it can happen to anyone...;.
but like you i have been provoked, and have hit my classmates (they were boys and i'm pretty weak so it didn't hurt) and my cousins when they've insulted JB. And plus the guy was probably jealous of they're amazing hair!

mmm, I'm alot like you, but, its like the people in my school don't really know me. They all think i'm a perfect goodie-goodie, so when I try to act my self, they all think I'm trying to be diferent. So when they find out I <3 the jb its like a HUGE shicker to them.
oh and on the hair thing, I thought the EXCACT same thing when that guy made that stupid comment.

some people think that only airheaded giddy girls like jb because of their fame and see ojd as a ridiculous joke instead of seeing that we support our guys just like fans of any other band.
i get the whole, "whoa, y-o-u like...the jonas brothers?" from haters as if jb is a bad excuse for music and i've got the image of having good music tastes (and i do...everyone on this board has a fabulous taste in music...winkwink!). it's silly and offending. but i just raise my head and say, "yes, i love the jonas brothers!!"
i've never been in a situation like you, where it's been bad, but i do know where you're getting from. you like jb and you're happy liking them and that's all that matters.

I haven't met any other kids at my school who like JB. I really don't think many people at my school even know who they are. But my cousins have made fun of my for listening to them.

There was this guy named Austin, and in English we were talking about media influences and he said

And then he looked RIGHT AT ME because I was wearing skinny jeans and he knows I love them. I kicked him and cussed him out. Haha

certain kind of girl...yea i feel the same way i feel weird sometime but im not ashame to say I AM BLACK! YES I AM,LOL i am a beautiful person i love all kinds of music...pop...country...hip hop...R&B...everything...no polka or anything but im very universal about things. i dont care that i like a group thats white...i was in love with Nsync,lol and 98 degrees...and other groups...5ive...and iono i still like music like jagged edge...and mary j blige...but i love me some Jonas brothers,lol
i dont know if this is wat u mean but its nothin to get upset about...i tell people they can kick rocks i can like wat i want...they not buyin my jonas brothers CD and magazines...and stuff so they can shut up..thats wat i say.
im goin to a concert for the first time and i know me and my friend are gonna get looks but watever...im their for JB not for the girls staring me down.
