On IMDB they are saying it did 8.9-9million. HSM had 7.7million.

thats what i thought too. hmm.
EDIT: on billboard.com, it says that HSM had 7.7million and HSM2 had 17 something million. whooaa.
I doubt Camp Rock beat out High School Musical 2.
That movie was.........popular.

I can't stand that movie.
My whole family sat down to watch that,though. My mom's seen it three times. xD
What I remember about the promotion is that Camp Rock would be bigger than HSM which it was, they never said anything about HSM2. And I agree I hated HSM2, I tried to sit through it and I couldn't stop rolling my eyes. I did like HSM though.
