Okay so i just wanted to share w/ u guys my concert excperiance on Saturday in Irvine....
So we got there at about 1:00, complete w/our signs and "The Lawn Girls" t-shirts. We made some great new friends in line, and this new band, Uptown Heroes came and played a couple songs for us in line. It was SUPER hot in fact we were "Burning Up" literally. The ppl in line were all very hyped, in fact EVERY time a bus came in, girls jumped over barricades and ran toward them- some girls even saw them come out of the bus and wave :)
Then we started talking to two girls, Betsy and Giselle. These Washington Mutal ppl started giving out these passes for ppl who had Washington Mutual cards that let them go in 5 min early!! So Betsy's mom had a card, and she was a couple blocks away, but they finnaly just gave us one and we got to go wait somwhere else where we met some great girls and Kevin fans :) We also were mixed in w/some ppl who had meet and greets and we talked w/some cute little girls w/thier moms who were just so excited...they were so cute :)
Finnaly we got to go in, and we had 2 of our group run ahead and the rest of us walked behind. Unfortunately it's like a long hike just to get to the ampitheatre....but guess what? our 2 runners were the 1st on the lawn!!! and then they closed a barricade....jb was on the stage and they waved to them!!!!!!!!!!!! So we got the FRONT of the lawn in like the middle! We were also next to some nice little girls w/thier moms :) We all had matching shirts so they asked to take a picture w/us!
But then the one bad thing happend....A MEAN USHER TOOK OUR SIGNS!!!!!! (mostly cuz they were filming...) But don't worry we got them back later :)
Then the concert began and trust me....it was amazing :) I won't spoil it tho....but it was mamma j's b-day so we sang her happy birthday (she didn't come out tho :(
Then we left and there was a big mob but had a fun time talking to ppl about the concert and saying goodbye to all our new friends...also we started talking to another mom and her daughter who wanted to take a picture w/us!! (Don't ask me why, i guess we just looked nice and fun...)
Oh and my sister got a cut hopping over a fence and i got a sunburn and a bruise...so those were our battle wounds
Basically we had an AMAZING TIME!!! :) Livin' the dream!!
