Here's how I did:
Well I was really sad/heartbroken one day and I was telling one of my friends about it and she goes: Have you heard "Hold On" by The Jonas Brothers? And I was like no...and she sent me the video for it. As soon as I heard it, I felt better. I fell in love with them. Then I saw in the related videos "Poor Unfortunate Souls" and watched that. I could not stop watching their videos after that. I became TOTALLY obsessed. I started talking about them to my mom, my dad, then I went to the pool with my friend and was like "Have you heard of The Jonas Brothers?" And she's like "yah, I like Joe." And I was like "Omg...I like them too! and I like Nick." So we started talking about them. This was when we just started hanging out and we became obsessed with them together, after that, we were best friends. But yeah our other bff doesn't like them and now she blames me for getting my other bff obsessed. :) But yeah before all of this I was in love with Josh Hutcherson...but then I saw that video and I ran into my room and tore down my josh posters and hung up any JB one I could find in the magazines I bought. :) So yeah just thought I'd share my story. What's yours?
I use to stay up really late just to hear the American Dragon:Jake Long theme song because I LOVED it. I never bothered to look up who sang it though. Then about a year ago I was babysitting and the kids were watching Disney and the Year 3000 music video came on. I looked up JB after I heard the song because it was so catchy and I learned they also sang the theme song I loved. After that I was hooked.
When the Kids of the Future music video came out, I was watching it because I had nothing else to do. After I watched it, I fell in love with that song. So, i went to the computer and watched the music vid over and over and over again. Then, after I heard Year 3000, Mandy, and Hold On; I absolutely fell in love with them! After that, it lands me to where I am right now! :D
Well I first heard of the Jonas Brothers while browsing through Youtube. I accidently clicked on S.O.S, the song sound catchy so I sat throught the music video. That was encounter number one.
Encounter #2 :Then time later I was flippin through channels and I saw them on Opera, left it there for a whlie then just shut the tv.
Then after that I would see like advertisement of Camp Rock at all the stores, so then I decide to look them up. So yeah I was being stalked by them so I decided to give into their beautiful dancy music. ^-^

well.. i dont have cable so i never heard of them alll the way in the begining [unfortunatly =[ ]
but.. i remeber it was liek feb. 10 [yes dats wen it started] i went to go watch hannah montana concert thingy in 3d with my friend.....then the moment came when they sang their songs i was like woahhhh! so later that night i was on youtube and i looked up jonas brothers and fell in love in liek an hour
i soo wish i knew them from the beginning but so far its been 7 wonderful months lolz <3
I first heard about them on Hannah Montana 3D and was like yeahhh they're good. :) Then I searched them up on youtube and listened to hello beautiful and fell in LOVE with it. I liked them, I wasn't obsessed at that time but about 2 months later my friend was obsessed with them so I re discovered hello beautiful and started to listen to their other stuff and watch their vids etc. And I became obsessed instantly :)
almost a year ago, my friend discovered them covering year 3000 on disney channel, in floridaaa. and were from england so we didnt really know who they were, but when she came home with their album, i fell in love with them (:
i started being a fan when i had a dream about me dating joe. i woke up the next morning like why did i have a dream about the jonas brothers? i wasnt even thinking about them at the time. so i went through school thinkin of how hott joe was haha. when i got home i went on youtube and searched them. watched S.O.S. and all of the videos and i was like man nick is wayy cuter. i mean i went far back to mandy and team hilario the joehawk and everything. its almost like ive been there since the beginning because i know all the old songs and trl everything until now.
that was like february :) i probably would have known them but i never heard of them until like last year so i didnt kno very much
i think i first heard of them about a year ago and i liked them. but it was only since i saw them on paul o'grady this year (probably around april? :s im not sure) when i actually fell in love with them and became obsessed :DD
