According to a local Atlantic City Newspaper, Joe did not run into a wall, it said he tripped and hit his forehead on a grate while he was filming a YouTube video backstage. I guess that makes more sense for him to need stitches than running into a wall.

ATLANTIC CITY - One third of the Jonas Brothers pop band was sent to the hospital Saturday night after injuring himself backstage at Boardwalk Hall during a highly anticipated Miley Cyrus concert.
Joe Jonas, the band's 18-year-old lead vocalist and former resident of Wyckoff, Bergen County, tripped and hit his forehead on a grate while filming a YouTube video backstage, according to a publicist.
"He received a few stitches and is doing very well," said Lillian Matulic, vice president of publicity for Hollywood Records. "He's not even missing a show."
Matulic would not comment further on the incident.
The Jonas Brothers opened for Cyrus Saturday night to a sold out crowd. Both Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers are currently under contract with Hollywood Records and commonly tour together.

thats so weird, because in another thread everyone was kidding around about how funny it would be if it was while they were fiming a video for Youtube!

see the things they do for us trying to tape a youtube video for our enjoyment he trips and has to get stitches lol i'm not laughing at the fact he got hurt but that kid can be clumsy and well i kind of want to watch that youtube video anyways i'm glad he's okay and that makes much more sense than hitting a wall

yesterday i was talking to my friend and we were saying how we wish it was on film (him running into a wall). and now it actually is! x]
i wish he didn't get hurt though; cause i bet it was a funnyyyy youtube vid and now we'll probably never see it unless they re-do it ...
Oh and I also want to say that I guess a few of you were wondering if the Atlantic City concert still went on, and when did the incident happen. The concert definately still occurred (I was there) and it had to happen after they sang "When You Look Me in the Eyes" because all three of the boys were singing their hearts out (stitch free). Also, when we were leaving the venue, going to our car we did HEAR sirens possibly the ambulance sirens transporting Joe to the hospital, but I can't say for sure.
Joe is such a spaz...I love him. And he hurt himself while making a video for US. That is so amazing. They do so much for us...I am so appreciative. I'm glad Joe's okay, of coursee.

that does make a whole lot more sense tan running into a wall .. like i was thinking he hit the corner of it but i guess not ! and he was making a youtube video ! i wonder what they were planning on doing in the video before joe had his little "accident" hahaha
