Ok , im new in this forum and im gonna post one thing that i was wondering about. Im from the UK and know little about the way the skl system works in the USA so plz forgive me
If Joe just finished skl , would that mean he was held back a year or not ? In the UK u finish skl if you'll be 18 the following september and Joe's gonna be 19 by this september. Nothing serious intended by this question -just wondering.....lol.
most people are eighteen when they graduate. i i think he just had an early birthday
yeah, it was the combination of the tutoring on the road dragging out the year a little longer and also the fact that his birthday is in august. so is mine, so while im going into 9th grade, im not 14 yet, but most of my friends ARE. little things like that switch it up a bit, but mostly UK and US schools are pretty much the same =]
in the US most people turn 18 during their last year of school.. so joe turned 18 like a month before he started his last year of school.. i think with him and other people with birthdays during the summer months, either you're going to be the youngest in your grade, or the oldest.. so joe is just one of those people who are a little bit older than everyone else, he didn't get held back or anything.. i don't really think that their tutoring pushed them back that much.. they only finished this school year like a month later than most of us did..
