This is kind of a continuation of the Did Anyone Else…thread, about Joe not wanting to talk about the purity rings in an interview because for some reason I can’t get into that thread : (
There are two things that piss me off so bad whenever I listen to Jonas Brothers interviews:
1. They always ALWAYS have to say something about Joe's fall at the AMAs. LEAVE THE POOR KID ALONE! Ugh. Personally I think it was pretty amazing how smoothly he was able to get up and recover from it (the way he slid on his knees was actually kinda hot) and also that he finished out the performance pretty flawlessly while cut up and bleeding! So yeah, he fell, and yeah, i bet he was embarrassed, but I guarantee that there aren't many people who could have pulled that off as gracefully as he did and I wish that just once somebody would say that or just not bring it up at all instead of stuff like "that must have been embarrassing" or "did your brothers give you crap about it?"
2. The purity rings. First of all, I'm pretty sure they were wearing them before they got signed by disney so all the people who say they only wear them because disney wants them to look wholesome can just shut their stupid mouths. Obviously nobody but them really knows for sure, but from what I can tell, they wear them because they truly believe in them. Second, just like they always say, it's a PERSONAL decision...it’s not about anyone else, and therefore, no one else's business. They're in this business to share their awesome talents with the world...not their views on sex. I was really proud of Joe for handling that situation the way he did, because it should just be about the music.
i totally agree. some interviewers are just totally annoying. like when they all ask how JB got started, I can seriously recite it word for word. I've heard it a million times! hahaa And what's this interview when Joe doesn't talk about his ring?
umm it was in a recent one,the interviewer started talking about the ring & staying pure & joe was all likee" is it okay if we just talk about the music?"
and yah i can recite how they started too!
I hate the way in every interview they always ask like 'is it hard to keep being pure' and 'why have you chosen to werar a purity ring' etc too
The interviewers are more interested in his sex life and than his music career...what he is best at! Its really unfair
And yeah each jo bro got a ring when they ecah turned 12 sooo thats before they were signed with disney!
Oh my gosh, I can recite how they started out too! Seriously, these interviewers need to update their questions or at least be original! It's the same boring (sometimes invasive) questions every time!
haha yea i can recite it too lol. but where is this interveiw? can someone post the link?
ahaa i can recite it tooo. nick "well it all started when was on broadway...etc.". haha.
can someone post the video ? :]
Hey I really truely agree with you.
For #1: I agree that they should leave Joe alone. I feel bad for him, he was such a man to get up and kept going.People should be saying "Good Job" and not critizing him.
For #2: I agree with it. Even before they did the Camp Rock movie they wore the rings so people should leave them alone. It is there desion not the media's or Disneys.
thatss true!
YEAH!
I always think about that... I've been hearing that stuff since they started their careers
I'm a fan since 2006 and I been hearing since ever... but its worse cus here in Mexico they are new and when they came every interview was about it....
