i have been a jonas brothers fan since 2006. My first concert was in 2008, and i have never met them.
so the other night, i was in my room, and i had please be mine on repeat. as i was listening to it, i was thinking "why havent i met them? why do all these "fans" get to meet them, when ive been waiting for 2 years?" then the chorus came on, and i realized, it can relate to fans who are still waiting to meet them. the parts that say "but i'll be there forever," and "all our hopes and our dreams will come true. i will not dissapoint you, i will be rite there for you" so, JB will be there forever, and they wont dissapoint us. so thats kind of like what they are saying to us. now then theres the part that its like us thinking about them "can't stop the rain from falling, can't stop my heart from calling you" its like, no matter how hard we try, we can't help but fall for them.
So yea. thats wut i thouhgt of. i know the song was definatly not written about that, but i just thought it was interesting =] so yea, post if you agree!!
aww that was cute. i'm in the same boat you are. been a long time fan and went to my first concert this year. that is really interesting about the song. lets hope that the long time fans who havent met them get a chance to.

i am in the same boat...i have been a fan since Mandy was on TRL but my first concert was in 07 b/c i went to the BOBW tour (only for them...lol) and have never met them

This is for me. Im new to the forum but Ive been listening to them since around then. I havent even been to a show yet either because tickets are too expensive D;
You know something wierd?? I was listening to Please Be Mine last night and thinking the exact same thing!
I've been a fan since 2006, went to my first concert 2 summers ago. And been to 8 concerts of theirs since then. I still haven't met them. The closest I got to that was a high five from them on their way to backstage at one of the concerts in the summer of 2007 when they could go through the crowd to get to backstage without getting mobbed.
It's ok though because hopefully when I meet them, it'll be worth it. I tell my friends that I'm saving my luck for something better than the meet and greets they're doing now. But I'm not going to be picky, if that's all I'll ever be able to get, I'd be beyond happy with that. I just want a chance to tell them how much their music has helped me and to thank them for everything they do.
