I'm probably wrong, but I'm thinking its for Mandy. I don't know why, but she's like their biggest fan and a really close friend. If they can't talk directly all the time, it might be their way of saying they haven't forgotten about her.

so i was watching the "nicholas look its megan" video last night and he does it there to but he doesn't look into the camera he turns his head and does it like right before the end
