They are NOT. I called the box office Friday and I was told that they are not. Bummer. But they are still doing a lottery.

Yeah, marcus always does lottery. They have the same inventory of tickets as ticketmaster too, and they all go onsale at the same time, So I don't know if I want to go down there or use ticketmaster. Cause getting good tickets for this is all about luck, either way you do it. Ticketmaster has extra charges though, So going down to the boxoffice would be cheaper. lol
I don't know what to do. lol |

I can't decide either I live an hour away but is it worth the gas to go down there and get tickets far b/c it's based on luck? Idk, but I like ticketmaster cause i already have an account on there, i might do ticketmaster.com and call the box office at the same time and see what comes first. I really want floor seats this time, b/c this will be my 3rd show for them and 3rd times a charm! I'm going for the whole day anyway, there's all kinds of stuff to do, so i'm excited!

Hi, I am new here. I am posting for my daughter that is 9 years old. We want to go to the Summerfest on July 9. I took my daughter to see Drake Bell last year and when I went on ticketmaster right when they started selling them. We got 30 row, then later in the evening I tried again. I could have gotten 8 row for her. So I am stump here, Could you answer some questions if you have the answers. Thanks

To answer your first question...from what I've heard, Summerfest does their lottery in a different way than I've done it before. You pick a number from a bucket (or something along those lines) and if you are lucky enough to get #1, you are pretty much guaranteed front row seats. But no, they do not tell you where you will be until you actually get the tickets.
To answer your second question, no, they do not do the lottery over the phone. I've never ordered Ticketmaster over the phone so I'm not sure if they will tell you what row you have before you buy them.
As for your third question, possibly. I don't really know how Ticketmaster works but I know it's messed up. Like you said, you can go back a few hours later and get better seats. It's just weird like that.
