So Taking Chances is ending so I thought I'd start a new one. Let me know what you think!

She pushed open the white door and light immediately flooded half of the room. She contemplated flicking the light switch on but quickly decided against it. She dropped her bags on the floor, her purse quickly following, before she slowly toed her shoes off. She reached down and turned her cell phone off before walking over to her comfy queen-sized bed. She crawled in and pulled the black and white comforter over her body burying herself in it. She heard a knock on the door before it was slowly opened, light once again flooding the dark space.

“Court, are you okay?”

“Leave me alone,” she quietly mumbled from under the covers.

“Courtney I just want to make---”

“Please Mandy just leave me alone.” She didn’t wait for a response before she rolled over, her back facing her best friend. As soon as she turned she was greeted with his face. Kevin had taken the picture of them when they weren’t paying attention and had slipped it into her purse. They had been curled up on the couch in some hotel suite when Joe had dropped a handful of popcorn on her. It turned into a popcorn fight and she had immediately framed the picture.

She reached out for the frame and trailed a finger over his image before grabbing it and throwing it behind her. She heard the frame break into a hundred pieces and finally let a tear make its way down her cheek, allowing herself to crumble.

Mands!!! Wow, that prologue was really really good! I can't wait to find out what happened! :D
