prologue- A Summer To Remember
I stared at the waves crashing down through my window. The Smell of the ocean reached me with every small breeze. The sun that had seemed to glare at me in Texas was reflecting off the water in something that made it look peaceful. The air was filled with sound of laughter and happiness but was interrupted by the sound of a honking car or a barking dog. The old wooden swing sat under a palm tree with a hammock beside it. This was every thing I had ever dreamed of. So as I stared through my open window and out at the waves tumbling over each other in a process so great  I couldn’t help but let my mind wonder over the things that had happened in the past. The things I wished I ha made out of summers that had passed. I found myself making a promise I knew I  had to keep “I will Make this a summer to remember.” The word rang through my ears and I heard something in the wind say “even if its wanted to be forgotten” I turned away from the window and ignored the sound I had heard. I wasnt going to let it stop me. even if I should have let it.
