Chapter 2-Dear Diary
A Summer To Remember

I stared at the boys. Why did they seem so familiar? Each one got hugged, or attacked as I would put it, by my sister but I just stood there. My brain was not working with me. I could read the confusion on their faces as I just stared at them instead of trying to embrace them in a hug.
“KAY! IT’S THE JONAS BROTHERS!” My sister screamed in my ear. Oh it makes sense now. That’s the way to Disney channel for my taste band my sister listens to. I smiled and Gave each an akward one armed hug. I was pulled by my sister over to Two awaiting stools. I sat on one and trued my hardest to look excited instead of bored. The boys each began singing and I let my mind wonder.
I really want a Pop-Tart right now. I thought to myself and I felt my stomach grumble in agreement. I felt a hand take mine and I looked up to see a curly head boy smile and walk me to the front of the stage. I Wonde if the body guard would hurt me if I Hit him. Of course I would only do that if he tried anything on me. This boy better not be getting ideas. I took self defense class. Okay this is getting retarded I’m talking to myself.
Finally the music ended. I didn’t really care that it was Because a Tall, Blond girl was running around in a circle To get away from the boys bodyguard. I stared at her in amazement. She was wearing a Shirt that said JONAS! And her green eyes were filled with delight. Suddenly the circle ended and she ran down the beach screaming while the bodyguard chased her.
I stepped off the stage and walked toward a girl I considered as my best friend “CHELLY!” I screamed.
She was wearing a navy and gray striped sundress with Gray sandals. Her Long dark brown hair was curled and hung down. She smiled and hugged me tightly before releasing me. A boy named Austin Chelly’s long time boyfriend walked up and asked her to dance.
I stared at all the couples dancing and sighed. “Well this is depressing” I mumbled. My sister was dancing with curly cue and speaking rapidly. The poor boy tried his hardest to keep up with what she was saying. I stared at the Ocean Now dark with night and remembered my promise “This is so not going well”
“Do you always talk to yourself?”
I turned to see a boy with brown hair shaped in a Mohawk (haha, told you it wasn’t nick) looking at me
“yes I do, Bu I never answer myself” I said back putting my hand on my hip.
He chuckled and motioned towards the dance floor “You want to dance?”
I smiled and relaxed.
“sure.”
we made our way to the dance floor and stated swaying to the slow tempo coming out of the speaker. He stared at me and I stared back. He smiled every time our eyes met and I couldn’t help but smile back.
“ITS OVER!” I Heard a shriek Come from behind me. I turned to see Chelly Slap Austin and walk away. Joe Stopped swaying and released me. He walked to where Chelly sat crying and began to soothe her. She smiled at him and tossed her hair after a while and I was suddenly annoyed. I rolled my eyes and turned to the stage My mom was motioning for me to change into my next outfit and I Nodded. Finally.
I closed my eyes as my mom lifted the Faviana dress over my head and took out my pony tale before curling it slightly. I opened my eyes and stared at the mirror.
“Its time.”
I walked to the stage and I felt the spotlight on me. I walked slowly to the Microphone and stood there nervously. The song began and I started to sing The Climb by Miley Cyrus. When the song finished I could finally see my audience, But at that moment I wished the spotlight came back on me. Then I wouldn’t have to see Chelly kiss Joe and Joe kiss Chelly back.
