Chapter 1.
Natalie POV
“Seriously Kati? Why must you play this music everything we go anywhere?” I complained to my best friend, Kati. She was once again playing the Jonas Brothers CD in the car.
“You know you like them! How could you not? They are so gorgeous!” Kati went on about them. I rolled my eyes. Don’t get me wrong, I like a couple of their songs but im not obsessed with them nor do I think they are gorgeous. Sometimes I worry about the taste in guys my friend has.
“Besides Natalie I have to make sure that you recognize the music for the concert tomorrow. Thanks for coming with me. Really means a lot.” She said smiling.
“The things I do for you Kati” I said as I giggled. She pulled into the parking lot of our favorite restaurant. We were seated near the back of the restaurant, which was also more of their private areas. Right after we ordered our drinks I got this weird feeling.
“So how is Michael?” Kati asked me. I smiled. Michael and I have been dating for 11 months and things were fantastically amazing. “Never better. Can you believe its going to be a year?!” I said as I clapped my hands together. She giggled. She took a sip of her newly placed coke and the looked to her left and she nearly chocked.
“Kati are you ok?!” I giggled. She glared at me before turning her attention to something behind me.
“Th-That’s the Jonas Brothers!” She squealed. She looked like a little kid that was getting their first piece of candy. I turned at looked at the famous band. There was a rather big group with them but the one that I knew was called Joe looked over at our table. We made eye contact and for some reason I could look away. I was locked onto his big brown eyes and I got this really weird feeling all over again.
“Natalie?”
I quickly turned back to Kati. She had this puzzling look and she looked back and forth from me to Joe, who was sitting at a table behind me.
“What was that?” She had somewhat of a smirk on.
“I don’t know. I got this weird feeling when I saw him.”
“Weird how? Like there could be a love connection?” She cooed. I rolled my eyes and shook my head.
“One, I have a boyfriend. Two, it was more like I’ve known him before. Like I met him a really long time ago.” I bit my lip and looked down at the menu that was placed in front of me. I quickly glanced back at Joe. This was weird.
JOE POV
We walked into this restaurant that Danielle said was really good. Mom, Dad, Big Rob, Nick, Lizzie, Kevin, Aileen, Frankie, Danielle, and I were going to lunch after reaching the next stop on tour. We were led through to the back of the restaurant which was supposed to be their more private area. There were two tables that were being occupied but other than that it was pretty much private. I heard someone sueal it’s the Jonas Brothers so when I turned to look where I heard it from. I saw two girls, one had her back to us and the other looked like she was going to jump out of her seat. The one who had he back towards us turned around and she looked familiar. The feeling that I have had multiple times quickly came back. I couldn’t turn away from the burnette and I kept searching her big brown eyes hoping they would give me answers as to who she was and why I knew her. I heard her friend call her name before she turned away, Natalie. I sat down and I must have had a dazed look on my face because Danielle turned to me and asked me if I was ok. I nodded before looking back at Natalie. I wonder where I know her. Is she the thing that is missing in my life?
“Joseph, is something wrong?” Mom asked me. As if on cue, everyone turned and looked at me. I shook my head and smiled trying to convince everyone I was ok. We started talking about tour making me forget about Natalie. After dinner, we just about to leave when I looked back at the table and Natalie and her friend were gone. I felt disappointed that she wasn’t there. I took Danielles hand we followed my family out. As we walked to the cars, I saw her, she was standing there talking to two guys and her friend. Her friend squealed and she looked our way. Nick and Kevin noticed and waved towards her causing her to lean against her car. Natalie laughed and looked our way.
“Kevin, Nick, and Joe get in the first car, you guys have a radio interview soon. Girls, Denise and Frankie will go back to the hotel.” Dad informed us. As I got into the car with Kevin and Nick I saw one of the guys slide his arm around Natalie’s waist.
“Dude what is your obsession with those girls?!” Kevin asked.
“Look at her” I told my brothers.
“Yea Joe she is pretty but did you forget about Danielle”
“No Nick, look at her. She doesn’t look familiar to you at all? Really look at her.” I said desperately hoping that they would recognize her and let him know who she is.
“sorry Joe, she looks like a fan to me.” Nick said before he turned back to his phone. Kevin on the other hand stayed staring at Natalie as we pulled out of the parking lot. He sat back at looked at me. He was going to say something but instead shook his head before pulling his phone out as well. I sighed and stared out the window. This missing feeling is linked to her but how?!'
