Chapter 5
So I walked into their house and it was GOREGEOUS. It looked pretty much the same as mine. "So do you play ping pong?" Joe asked me. "Um.I'm not that good at it but I play sometimes..." "That's cool." He said. "Nick's awesome at it he can almost beat anyone." "Really?" Joe nodded smuggly. I knew he looked up to something. Then their mom walked in. "Joe wouldn't you like to introduce me to your new friend?" He nodded. "Mom, this is Kirsten were strictly just friends." She nodded knowing it probobly wouldn't be true for long. "Isn't this the girl you're going to help record her cd with?" "Yep." He nodded. I shook Mrs.Jonas' hand. "Nice to meet you, Mrs.Jonas." "Oh call me Denise, sweetie I think you'll be close with the boys for awhile." So that night I just hung out with Joe, Kevin, Nick,Ashley,and Jordyn. Frankie was upstairs, sleeping. "Do you need someone to walk you home?" Joe asked. "Umm no I'm fine." "You sure?" He asked. "I'll just walk back with you to get out of the house for a few minutes." "umm... ok." I replied. I opened the door, waiting for Joe to come. It was pitch black outside and just a single street light at the top of the hill were my house was. Let's hope it don't shine into my room. I sat there waiting and waiting for Joe to come. It felt like hours. 'Joe what the heck are you doing?" "Hold on one second then he finally came through the huge doorway and shutting the big white doors behind him. It was late Kevin and Nick had just left to drive Ashley and Jordyn home but being fortunate, I didn't have to wake up to get to school ealy the next morning. As we walked up the steep hill to my house, it was dark, and quiet to quiet actually. "So I hope you had fun tonight." "Oh of course I did the funnest thing i've done in awhile." "One more question, did you have any friends at all where you used to live?" Joe asked. "One. My BFF, Lily." "Wow." He said. "It's cool, you kind of get used toit, not having anyone want to be your friend." Then he slid something into my pocket. I wondered what it was. I approached the house. It was dark. Everyone must be sleeping. I thought to my self. I said goodnight to Joe and he walked back down to his house. As I walked up to my room. I heard Becky, laughing a mile a minute, talking to somebody. I didn't say anything cause I didn't want to risk being slapped again. I walked into my giant room, everything unpacked. I went into the bathroom and the first thing I'd done was take out the peice of paper Joe slid into my pocket. Their it had their number, Ashley's, and Jordyn's. Nice to know. I decided to text Lily.
Me:Hey
Lily: What are you doing up?
Me:Just got back.
Lily:From where at midnight missy?
Me:Was hanging out at JB's. We just watched some movies, played guitar hero and things. I met Nick and Kevin's GF. They are both very nice and sweet. You totaly have to come over soon.
Lily:Of course I will.
Me:So what was school like today.
Lily:Very...dull
Me:I'm sure it was.
Lily:So what are you doing right now.
Me:Getting ready for bed.
Lily:I'm in bed!
Me:Well duh! You forgot the three hour time difference, we're three hours behing you.
Lily:oh...right.
Me:Lol Well I'm off to bed, g'night
Lily:G'night to you to.
After we texted I plugged my phone into the charger took a shower and changed into my pj's. As I was laying down I began to think. I'm not perfect enough for all of this and drifted of to sleep
I woke up as the sun shine into my eyes through the window. Gee what time is it? I thought to my self. The first thing I thought I hadn't even seen my room. But now seeing it with the sunlight shining through it, It was pretty nice. It had purple walls and a king sized bed. The room was the size of my house back home in Burkesville. I turned to find the alarm clock on my white bedside table and in red, it read 8:00. It was a pretty good time to get up because I don't limke to get up to late. Then the day seems way too short, well that's just me anyways. I walked into the bathroom which was my own to get dressed. Today I just chose to wear a tshirt and skinny jeans. I applied little make up. This was all I had right now. I walked down the stairs to see my mom, dad, and Becky at the table. "Good morning." My mom said as I slid into the wooden chair at the big humongous table we now had. At my spot was a pile of 3 blueberry pancakes, my favorite breakfeast food. "Eat up as much as you can today. We start pre production and stuff on your debut album." I nodded. "Sweet. Becky gave me a look of envy and just sat there. "Becky, would you like to join us?" Mom asked. "Of course." She said. I looked at her. "You better behave you little brat." She smiled at my mom and then we got up to go. When I stepped outside, it was a big difference from the normal weather I was used to feeling on a typical morning. There was a warm breze as we walked to my mom's silver SUV. I buckled up and we drove into downtown LA. We drove by goregeous hotels, studios where shows were made and of course, traffic. Finally about after half an hour of sitting in traffic we got to the recording studio. Inside, it was huge. There were all these doors were people were recording and writing then we finally got to where I was supposed to be. We opened the door and seen a group of people sitting there. Once we got there and got comy on a couch a man walked over. "Hello, I'm Mr. Arch i'm the president of Hollywood records and I think your daughter will love it here. We've had some of the biggest celebrities of right now working with us Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus just to name a few." I nodded in amusement. Then he talked to my mom to show how the process works. "Oh and Kirsten, you will be doing a lot of promotional work for your cd, which we hope, will come out by August. Also you will be opening for the biggest band around, the Jonas Brothers." They walked in. "Sweet." I said. "Have you met them already?" I nodded. "Great then. Also they'll be helping you produce your CD and do a duet with you also." I nodded. "Well then let's get to work." I took my note book out showing tons of songs I wrote. Almost everyone helped me pick a song to put on my cd. "Hey Kirsten. I got the perfect title for your cd." Joe said. "How about Inperfection." Everyone agreed to it and it was very relateable to me. Or that's what I thought. Just then Ashley and Jordyn came in and I went up to them and talked. "Hey girls." I said. "Whats up?" "Oh nothing much." Jordyn said. "Hey why don't just the girls hang out today. I'm sure they wouldn't mind." I nodded.
*Ashley's POV*
"Sounds great. I'll go tell them." I walked over to Nick and tapped him on the shoulder. "Hey sweetie." He said kissing me softly on the cheek. "I missed you." "Me too." I replied. "Today me Jordyn, and Kirsten are gonna hang out today. Is that alright?" "Of course it is." Nick said. "You know i'm comfortable with that. Then he sat on the couch and guided me over come on, sit on my lap. I did and he stroked my hair and kissed the top of my head. We sat there for awhile. As Kirsten began to record"I love you." He mumbled into my hair. "I love you too." I replied, kissing him softly.
