Since the day they got married

But when the nurse came in with a little pink blanket

From the moment she was placed in her daddy’s arms he knew that she was the perfect little girl for him and that she was going to turn heads. She was gorgeous beyond belief a heart breaker before the age of three and her daddy knew that she would be fighting the boys off with a stick, her gorgeous dirty blond hair and dark eyes.
Sixteen short years later
She was falling for the senior football star
Before you knew it he was dropping passes
Skipping practice just to spend more time with her
The coach said, hey son what's your problem
Tell me have you lost your mind
Daddy said you'll lose your free ride to college

He fell for her the moment their eyes met he was on the field and she was in the stands. She wasn’t a beauty queen like her daddy had though she would be, she was a self declared nerd who caught the eye of just about every guy. She spotted him with a little grin standing staring and chuckled lightly as he got hit in the head with a football. He groaned and picked the ball up throwing it back to the other boy his eyes never leaving her face. Soon he was watching her in the stands instead of playing the game and he almost lost it all. She just would smile and wave causing him to loose all focus on the game. They started dating and she knew right then and there she wanted to spend her life with him and he the same. He almost lost his scholarship and she almost lost her future but soon he was back on track with her by his side.

He didn’t know how anyone could not love her, how they could make fun of her because she liked to read and write. She wasn’t a nerd she was individual, genuine, kind and gorgeous. Soon after her 18th birthday, just over two years since they had gotten together he did something that would change the rest of both of their lives. He asked her to marry him.
And when they got married and decided to have one of their own
She said, be honest, tell me what you want
And he said, honey you outta know
Few years later when both were ready they decided to try to have a baby, the perfect addition to their family. She was nervous at first and worried about if she would make a good mother or not. But he said not to worry as long as they had one another it would be fine. So the day she found out she was pregnant she smiled the biggest smile she could, wrapped her arms around his neck and with a whisper in his ear told him the good news. Both were excited for every doctor visit and every chance they had to see their little baby. Finally they were told they could know the gender and with a little smile she asked what he wanted.

And when their daughter emerged a mere six months later he fell for her instantly. She had her momma’s blond hair and her daddy’s chocolate eyes. With a smile he bent down and kissed his wife as she held their baby girl. He knew right then and there he was in love with his own little All American girl.
