She was nervous, it was her first time and how was she suppose to make sure that the balls got in the right holes? The brunette boy she was with just chuckled as he watched her approach slowly. One thing was sure, she was new to the game and it was going to be a little awkward as she tried to get comfortable with the surroundings. A pout forms on her face as her brown eyes turn to look straight into his, almost Carmel colored ones. He smiles wrapping his hands around her waist, and takes her hands in his own. He tells her how to do it, and with the slightest amount of help she sinks the ball in the corner pocket.
“Wow who knew that Brittany and Nick could make Pool this... Sexy...”
She turns hearing her best friend say those words and shoots a death glare at the older girl. She lets out a laugh and wraps her arms around her boyfriend, his brother, dragging him out of the room, to go play Mini Golf. (A.N. LEGIT NOT MINI GOLF!) That leaves only two other people in the room to ruin their fun. Her gaze turns to his older brother and his girlfriend, another of her friends. It only takes a moment for them to take her hint and leave them alone to go do something that no one wants to know about.
She turns and looks into his carmel eyes again a little smile on her face. He grins also wrapping his arms around her tighter and crushing his lips down to hers. She grins widely into the kiss pulling him closer to her own body.
“Brittany mommy... WOAH!”
They pull away and Brittany looks at the bottom of the stairs where her little sister is standing her mouth dropped at the sight of Brittany and Nick.
“If you want to live Cat you will leave right now.”
The little girl flies up the stairs and Brittany turns back to Nick who is now standing on the other side of the pool table looking at her.
“What are you doing over there Mr. Jonas?”
“I am trying to remember that I am trying to teach you pool. And that every time we get started on something we never finish it.”
“With good reason.”
Brittany co.cks her eyebrow at him and he blushes a shade of red that makes her laugh. They both knew that they never finished anything because they were forever getting distracted by each others lips. She lets out another soft laugh before watching him bend over and take his shot. The ball misses the hole slightly and she sends him a sad look before lining herself up.
Soon the game is going strong and Brittany is beating Nick, just barely, but then they are interrupted but something more pressing.
“DINNER.”
The pair look at one another and race up the stairs, competition in both of their blood. Nick beats Brittany barely and as a pout forms on her lips he leans over and places a soft kiss on them, in hopes of cheering her up. She smiles and grabs hold of his hand, as he laces their fingers together wearing a huge smile, before walking over to the table.
Dinner goes as well as expected with Brittany’s family there with the pair. Occasionally they will forget that they have company, until one of the other people at the table does something that draws them back in.
Finally dinner ends and the pair walks back downstairs, back to their pool game, back to their fun.
“Hey Nick let’s make a bet.”
“Your on. What’s your bet beautiful?”
“I bet I can beat you at pool.”
“What do you get if you win?”
“Hum... I get to go on tour with you.”
“And What do I get if I win?”
“You get to pick.”
“Okay.”
She grins widely before leaning over and kissing him on the lips.
The game continues, the atmosphere not as light as it had been before and with only one ball left on the table it looks like Brittany is going to win the bet. She flashes Nick a winning smile and lines up to make her shot. But she misses sinking the cue ball instead causing Nick to laugh slightly at her. She puts a frown on her face and he leans over kissing her cheek causing a twinkle to form in her eye. She loves that boy with all of her heart.
The game continues both missing their shots and getting more and more engrossed with the game. Suddenly a ball flies off the table and bounces around managing to hit Brittany in the foot in the process. She jumped around for a minute before sitting down on the pool table and holding her injured body part. Nick hurried over and started to examine her foot trying to make sure that nothing was broken, that she was okay. He felt that it was his fault he had hit the ball that managed to fly off the table and he was worried for her.
After a new moments, a few tears, and a tight hug she was better but not ready to get off that table yet. It was the perfect height, allowing her to look him straight in the eyes. She wrapped her arms around his neck and leaned in for a perfect kiss, something that she wanted to do all night.
The game was soon forgotten, along with the fact that his brothers would be returning any moment and that her family was just up the stairs.
His hands roamed, from her waist to her hair to her face and back again, while hers found their way into his curls locking his head to her own. She leaned back on the pool table a moment later and then it happened. The brunette girl squealed with delight, as he straddled her on that pool table.
She bit back a moan as his mouth left her own and found it’s way to her neck, behind her ear, all over her face and back to her mouth again.
She knew one thing was sure, she wanted to spend the rest of her life with him.
And then it happened the footsteps, the streams, the stares and the gasps.
“Wow who knew Brittany and Nick could make Pool this... sexy.”
A chuckle escapes the throat of his brother and he sighs getting off of her and helping her to a sitting position on the pool table. She crosses her legs and smiles widely at him, before letting out a little laugh.
Her friends shake their heads and look to their own boyfriends, knowing that it wasn’t that long ago that they were in the same stage that the youngest of the group were in.
When the oldest boy mentions that it’s time to go Brittany sighs and gets off of the pool table, Nick helping her down, and walks upstairs with her boyfriend. They make it to the front door and she looks up at him smiling widely, like always.
“So Nick. Quick question.”
“Yea baby.”
He lowered his lips to hers after the question and it takes her a few seconds to recover from his kiss.
“Nick Baby, who won?”
He kisses her again and places a curl behind her ear.
“I think we both did.”
