Tough Love & Weird Fights

“And today, you’ll be going to the people wo will teach you martial arts.” Rikki said. Joe was only half listening, “I would dress appropriately.” She added, glancing at the boys tight skinny jeans. The boys got up to go change.

    Melissa pulled her hair up into a ponytail. Today she would be preparing Nick, Joe, and Kevin Jonas for their Disney Channel Show, J.O.N.A.S. It wasn’t really a big deal for her as it was for her sister, Ashley. As she slipped into her martial arts uniform, she wondered what they were like. Would they be just as nice as the magazines made it look? Or would they be stuck up? She grabbed her duffel bag and headed for her car.

    Kevin pulled up to a new-looking building. The boys got out of the car and looked at each other. They were all dressed in t-shirts and sweats. They were all sort of nervous. Together they walked into the building. The inside looked like a dance studio, minus the barre.  They heard the door open behind them. It was a girl who looked about the same age as Joe. She looked up.
    
“And you guys must be the Jonas Brothers.” She said, “I’m Melissa.”

    Melissa held out her hand and each of the guys shook it. A girl?, Joe thought.

    That day, Melissa taught the boys the basics. But, before she did that. Her and her “assistant” showed the boys some awesome moves. She didn’t plan that, but she just had to show off.  When her and Erik were in the middle of a free fight, out of the corner of her eye, she saw all three boys’ mouths drop. She grinned to herself.
    
    Over the next few weeks, she taught the boys more and they were getting pretty good. The boys were all awesome, except for Joe. Joe got on her nerves constantly. One time, they started yelling at each other, while Nick and Kevin watched in awe.

    “Why don’t you listen to me!?” Melissa screamed.

    “BECAUSE!” Joe screamed back.

    “Because what!?”

    “Because…Do you want to kiss me!!??”

    “I THOUGHT YOU’D NEVER ASK!”, and Joe grabbed Melissa and pressed his lips to hers.

    Kevin and Nick’s jaws dropped to the floor. This was the weirdest fight ever.

    “I HATE YOU!” Melissa screamed.

    “I HATE YOU MORE!” Joe screamed back.
    
    They kissed again, and kept going until it became a full-fledged make out session.

    "Hey, love birds!", Nick said, "Get a room!"

    "Sorry." Melissa said, backing away from Joe.

    "That was one weird fight." Kevin said.
