Happily Ever After
Joe's POV.
"Daddy! Is that mommy playing the piano?" six year-old Adrienne asked.
I nodded looking at the litthe girl in my arms. She had the exact same dark brown hair like her mother, and my honey brown hazel eyes. We watched the television screen in awe. My wife was a famous celebrity now. So was I.
"Will I be as good as mommy and you?" she asked.
I shrugged. I didn't know much about the piano because I mainly stuck to vocals.
"If you practise every day" I promised her.
Adrienne had the same look of determination that Kayla always had whenever she was determined.
"I will! I want to become the greatest singer and piano player ever!" she said.
I smiled as she hopped off my leg and ran upstairs. After Kayla finished playing the audience burst out in applause. I remembered the feeling I got the first time I did that. I didn't want it to end.
"DADDY!" Adrienne called running downstairs.
She hopped onto my leg.
"What is it cupcake?" I asked.
She pouted.
"I don't know how to play piano" she pointed out.
I blinked. She was right.
"Do you want Uncle Nicky to teach you?" I asked.
She nodded as her two pig tails flapped against her head.
"Yes please! And I want mommy to come home soon!" she added.
I smiled at her.
"Sweetie, you know your mommy is always on tour. But she'll be home soon" I promised.
I hope
