Through The Lens
He spotted her for the first time through the lens of his camera. It was rare for him to not be in front of the camera smiling at the photographer. But today he was just trying to be normal. To not be Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers to just be Nick.
She was stunning, long brown hair and gorgeous brown eyes. She was slim and tall, though not as tall as the two girls with her. One said something causing the other two to laugh and then they separated. She was walking straight towards him and he quickly snapped her pictures. She smiled as she passed him and then she was gone.

It was two weeks before he saw her again. She was hailing a cab, with little success. She frowned over that fact and as she turned to leave a black car pulled up and stopped in front of her. She seemed to recognize who it was and grinning she got inside. But not before he snapped a picture of her smiling. Beautiful and smiling her.

Two more weeks spent going to the park to look for her. Two weeks of staring through the lens and not seeing her gorgeous face.
“She’s not coming,” a female voice said from behind him.
He turned quickly and spotted one of the girls from that first day. She had her hands occupied with a cell phone and a Starbucks cup, which is almost empty, and a pair of bright blue-framed sunglasses shaded her eyes.
“Excuse me,” he asked slightly worried?
“You are looking for Mads. She’s usually in the City every two weeks but she busted her leg and is stuck in the hospital in Jersey,” the girl answered.
“I’m not looking for her,” he frowned.
“Sure you aren’t. She lives like two minutes away and is getting released later. She’s actually coming up here tomorrow. See you then maybe,” the girl told him as she walked off.
Was he really that obvious?
~~~
She was still gorgeous, a bright red cast on her leg, crutches under her arms and a smile on her face. She was with the two girls from the first day and when the one who had talked to him saw him she smiled. They made their way over to him and by habit he snapped a picture of her.
“Hi I’m Madison,” she spoke, her voice smooth.
“I’m Nick,” he answered.
“I hear you missed me,” Madison said causing him to groan.
“I…” he started.
“It’s cute. I missed you too,” Madison smiled widely.
Two years, two months and two days after Madison met Nick, she approached him again smiling, his father at her side. Together they reached the preacher at the front of the church and his father kissed her cheek before sitting next to his wife. Standing at the front with the pair were their best friends all formally dressed with two of the group fidgeting with their clothing.
Elizabeth, the one who first brought them together, hated her dress, she hated dressed to begin with. Across the isle her boyfriend, Kevin, stood once again moving his jacket sleeve and scuffing his feet. Joe and Hayden both lightly smacked their friends and sent them looks.
“I do,” Nick smiled down at Madison.
She looked gorgeous of course, a stunning sleeveless dress on her body, in a shade as pure as she was. Her hair up with curls framing her face and her smile, as usual, wide on her face.
“I do,” Madison said her hands shaking as she promises forever to him.
“I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride,” he told them.
Their lips touched lightly before they seemly devour each other’s lips with hunger. They pulled away and the church erupted with claps and cheers. Everyone inside knew this couple would last at least fifty years. They walked hand in hand for the first time as, ‘Mr. & Mrs. Nicholas Jonas.’ As they headed outside the sunsets and on the steps of the church Nick leaned down to whisper in her ear.
“I’ve loved you since I first saw you through the lens.”
