ok so its kinda rough.... but its just to get it started it will get better
Chapter 1
Natalie was so depressed that she was moving from her hometown back in Pennsylvania. All her friends were there and she had to leave them. The one thing she hated the most was that she was leaving her best friend of 14 years, the one all her friends knew that she had a secret crush on. She never told a soul about it, but somehow they just knew. It killed her inside. She had no idea where her family was moving to, the only thing she knew was that they were moving to New Jersey, Greensburg, New Jersey(not a real town in New Jersey i checked) to be exact. She was sitting in a vehicle for what seemed like forever to her. Natalie was not one for sitting in cars.... for long periods of time. Her father finally said "We're here! Welcome to your new home."
Natalie was an only child and this was something she was not looking forward to going through by herself. She had the best years out of the 16 she had in her hometown. She tried to find the brightside the whole car ride down, but she never reached it. It was a warm, muggy saturday... the saturday before school started. Natalie wasn't overly excited because she didn't want to have to start all over again.
Natalie helped unpack everything and as soon as that was done she went to her room. It was huge! She loved it. She immediately started unpacking, but then she stopped. She pulled out a picture of all her friends from PA the last day of school their freshman year. On the frame it said, "We survived Freshman Year!" The faces of her friends just brought her to tears. She set the picture aside and then she heard the doorbell ring. She thought to herself, who could it be? No one knows us here.
She ran downstairs and answered the door. She assumed it was her neighboors... well she was right!
"Hi there, i'm Ashley Briggs and this is my husband Mark," she pointed to herself and the man standing next to her.
"Hi, i'm Natalie."
"Oh, and this is my daughter Bailey."
"Hi Bailey. My parents are inside your more than welcome to come in a meet the rest of the family."
"Ok, we will do just that!"
They walked into the huge house. They walked into the kitchen and Natalie just pointed to her family.
"The one over by the table is my mom, her name is Nancy and then the one over by the stove is my dad, his name is Norm."
"Well, it's nice to meet you. I'm Ashely Briggs, my husband Mark and our daughter Bailey."
"It's nice to meet all of you."
Natalie started to walk off before her mouth spat out, "Bailey you can go hang out with Natalie if you want."
Bailey followed Natalie all the way to her room. The first words out of Bailey's mouth were... "OMJ, you have the biggest room i've ever seen!"
Natalie was just shocked at what she said. She wasn't used to hearing OMJ, it was always Oh My Gosh or OMG.... never OMJ. Natalie didn't even know what that meant! Natalie started to unpack and Bailey was helping her out. Time was flying by. They became friends pretty quick, maybe it's because they were the same age, and pretty much could relate to the same things. Bailey's parents came up to Natalie's room and told her it was time for them to get going... school was starting in 2 days and Natalie had a lot to do to get ready for her debut at Greensburg High School on Monday.
The worst part for Natalie was, no one knew her. She saw what kids at her old school did to the new students and didn't want that to happen to her. Needless to say, she was scared for the 1st day of school. But then again, who isn't, its a new school.... new people... what was Natalie in for? Natalie finally had everything unpacked and decided to go to sleep because she had a lot to do tomorrow.
She woke up and went for a walk to see what the neighboorhood was like, see what she was getting herself into. That's pretty much all she did that day was spend her time outside thinking. Natalie loves the outdoors but it just wasn't the same as the Central PA town she lived in and loved. It started to get late so she went inside and up to her room. She called her friends to let them know how everything was going and her last call was to her best friend, Brett. They fell asleep talking to each other... the next day came. Time for the 1st day of school.... Natalie was freaked out!
Sorry it took me so long... but i finally got the time to edit it. I hope you guys like the first chapter its just kinda boring having her move and getting to see her surroundings and everything. Chapter 2 will be the first day of school. If you have ideas on what should happen with Natalie i'm up for suggestions!
