okay so i decided to post the next chapter cuz im so bored right now and since i only have one reader so far this for you tara! lol. and thanks for reading! =]
Chapter Two
I stood there in complete awe. Right in front of me was the one and only Joe Jonas! After staring for a couple seconds i managed to get myself together and sat something.
“Um, hi.” I said, breaking the silence. “Hey. I'm Joe.” “Yeah, I know. Your poster is hanging up in my room.” I immediately regretted saying that and I could feel the heat rising up in my cheeks. He let out a small chuckle.
“You're really good at that.” He told me. “Ehh. I try.” We both laughed. We started to talk. I was told him how I was only going to be here for the summer and he was telling all about being a rockstar. Luckily, he didn't seem to mind me asking him so many questions. We talked for what seemed like minutes but was really about an hour.
Finally, it seemed like we had run out of things to say. We were both quiet until Joe grabbed my guitar. He started to play a song that I knew very well. He started singing...
“Every time I think I'm closer to the heart, of what it means to know just who I am...”
I couldn't help but join in when he started singing the chorus. We both sang...
“You're the voice I hear inside my head, the reason that I'm singing. I need to find you, I gotta find you...”
Throughout the whole song I could feel him looking at me. I couldn't make direct eye contact with him because I knew I would start blushing and he already saw me do that once, and it was embarrassing.
Once the song ended there was a silence, but not an awkward one. Unfortunately, that silence was interrupted by his phone.
“Hello? Uh huh. Okay, I'll be right there.” he said into his phone.
“I have to go. Dinner time.” he said to me. “Ohh. Okay. Well, today was fun.” “Yeah, we'll have to do it again.” I swear my heart skipped a beat. Did he really want to hang out with me again? I thought to myself. “Meet me here tomorrow at 10.” he told me with a smile. “Sure. I'll be here.”
And with that he started to cross the street and start walking towards his house. I was confused when I saw him walk straight to the house across from my Aunt's. He walked inside and then my slow self finally realized that's where he lives!
Joe Jonas was going to be my neighbor for the entire summer, nothing could top this.
I started to walk inside, thinking to myself, Now, what's going to happen tomorrow?
