So this is my new fanfic, hope you like it! please comment!!
Hollywood, Here She Comes
Waiting is so nerve-racking. Especially when you are doing something scary, like singing in front of your entire school. Right now, Casey Thompson is doing her break dancing routine, and the crowd is loving it. I am praying they clap and cheer for me like that.
Principal Wilson is saying my name, telling me to come onstage. I walk, trancelike, to the stage. My guitar is slung over my shoulder. This is it. I’ve been preparing for this for weeks.
The audience is quiet as I bring the microphone to my height. My knees are shaking. Everyone is watching me. I am so scared. The only ones who ever heard me sing, really sing, are my sister Shailene and my showerhead.
My heart is pounding as I position my guitar. I take a deep breath and start to sing. “As time was ticking, we were winning, and it all was going as planned…”
For awhile, I can’t bring myself to look at the audience. But then I realize no one is laughing or booing, and no rotten tomatoes are being thrown (like in my nightmares). So I glance at them. They are smiling. They seem to like me! I sing louder, more confident than ever. “You can try to break us, to make us fall apart, but the fire’s in our hearts…”
I finish, and everyone cheers, as loud as they did for Casey, maybe louder. I take my seat by the rest of the performers. There are three acts left. When they are finished, Principal Wilson takes the stage.
“We have many talented students here tonight, and each and everyone one of you should be very proud of yourselves. Unfortunately, we can only have one winner. So without further ado, the winner of the 2008 Lincoln High School Talent Show is… McKail Shepard!!”
My heart stopped. I walked to the stage on autopilot. I was sure I looked stupid, standing there grinning like an idiot while was handed the trophy, but I didn’t even care.
I looked out to my family. My parents looked so proud. Quinn and Carson are clapping, and Shailene is cheering and whistling. She’s the one who convinced me to do this. I went to my family in a daze. But before I got there, I was intercepted by a woman. “Hello, McKail. You have an incredible voice, congratulations on winning. My name is Shannon Durphy, and I represent Hollywood Records. Do you have a minute? I have something I think you might be interested in.”

Ok, i'm gonna post even though i only got one comment. i expect more now, people!!! (jk, but seriously, comments make me happy!!!") Oh, btw this a third person view. And this is just filler to let you know what's going on.
Ch. 1
8 Months Later
So much had happened since the talent show. Back then, very few people ever heard her sing. But now, she sang in front of thousands as the opening act for an awesome band, none other than the Jonas Brothers!!!!
It could be described as incredible.Only a few months earlier, she had been a regular 15 year old girl. Now, she was on tour with the Jonas Brothers!
The guys were great. They were hilarious, and so sweet. They were like broters to McKail, only not. Because she would date them in a heartbeat.Especially Nick. There was just something about him. Maybe it was his sensitivity, or his sarcastic sense of humor that rivaled hers. Was it thet adorable face, or his incredible voice, or waht about that curly hair? McKail didn't know for sure, but whatever it was captivated her.
There was a similarity between her and the brothers. A lot of people (guys) thought McKail was hot.She was fair-skinned and slender, about 5'4", and had emerald green eyes. But what got alot of people was her hair.
It was an amazing color, not blonde, but kind of silvery white. Like cornsilk, her mom said. McKail had always hidden it in buns ponytails, afraid to be noticed. Not anymore. It was hilarious how many people asked her if it was real. Actually, she and the brothers had a running bet on how many times she would be asked that before the tour was over. She was up to 235 in just the third week.
McKail's 20 year old sister Shailene was with them. McKail's parent didn't want her going around the country "alone." They didn't want to pull 8 year old twins Quinn and Carson out of school, so freelance photographer Shailene agreed to go. The sisters rode "the family bus" with the Jonases. Everyone in the family was so nice.
Yeah, McKail Shepard's lfe was going pretty great.

Ch. 2
It was a rainy day and Kevin, Joe, Nick, and McKail were bored out of their minds. There was nothing scheduled for the day.
“We could watch a movie.” Joe suggested halfheartedly.
“We’ve already watched three movies today.” Nick pointed out.
“Let’s play the Disguise Game!” Kevin said.
“Sounds good to me!” McKail replied. Everyone agreed. The Disguise Game is where, well, they put on disguises, and go to a public place and see who gets noticed first.
McKail covered her long blond hair under a dark brown wig, and put on huge white rimmed sunglasses. Nick pulled a hat over his famous curls, and Joe straightened the front of his brother’s hair so it gave him emo-ish bangs, and he also put on sunglasses. Joe pulled on a brown wig and Ray-Bans, and, just because he was Joe, he stuck on a fake mustache and goatee.
(Joe usually gets noticed first.) Kevin slipped on a reddish wig and sunglasses.
They left the bus and Kevin drove them to a nearby mall. They were having a great time, shopping and acting like normal people instead of super-famous-rock stars. They were getting odd looks, mainly because of Joe and his faker-than-fake facial hair, but no one figured out who they really were.
They were walking through a crowded aisle, goofing around and teasing each other. Joe hip-checked McKail and she bumped into a display. Her wig caught on something as she went to push Joe back.
“Wow, It’s McKail Shepard!” someone said. People started rushing towards her. Nick bent down to get her wig and his sunglasses fell off.
“NICK JONAS!” someone screamed. Nick laughed and grabbed McKail’s hand and raced away from the screaming fans. “You lose!” he told McKail as they dashed away. They ducked through shops and kiosks, trying to lose them. They ran outside and hid in the bushes near the parking lot.
They sat there for a few minutes, laughing. “Well, that was a rush. I wonder where Joe and Kevin are?” Nick wondered. AS if on cue, Nick’s phone rang. “Hey, Joe.”
“Where are you?” he asked.
“In the bushes by the parking lot. On the opposite of the mall we parked at. And we dropped our disguises.” Nick said.
“That could be a problem.”
“Potentially, yeah.”
“Yeah.”
“Ask Kevin what he thinks we should do.” Nick said, sighing at his older brother’s, well, Joe-ness.
A few seconds later, Joe said, “He says we’ll come get you. I don’t know if I told you, but we lost our disguises too. Funny story actually, we were-”
“Joe, put Kevin on the phone please.” Nick rolled his eyes.
“Nick? We’re gonna try and sneak out of the mall into the car. We’ll drive by you guys, and jump in as fast as you can.” Kevin said.
“Okay. See you soon.” Nick hung up. He told McKail the plan and they sat and waited. A minute later, there were loud screams. “JOE! KEVIN! WE LOVE YOU!” Kevin’s car was being chased by a mob of fans as they drove towards them. Nick and McKail jumped out of their hiding place and dashed to the car. There were more shrieks. McKail jumped in the passenger seat and attempted to pull Nick from the clutches of the fans. Joe helped her from the backseat and soon Nick was on McKail’s lap.
“Whoa, sorry, Kail. I can’t really move, um, Kevin, stop when you get a chance, kay?” he said, blushing a little. McKail laughed as tried, yet failed, to squeeze through the space between the front seats. She scooted over as close as she could to the door and he squeezed next to her.
“That was awkward.” Nick said. Everyone laughed. Soon they got back to the parked bus.
Frankie laughed hysterically as they recapped their adventure, and Mr. and Mrs. Jonas just shook their heads and smiled. “Hey, I just realized something! I didn’t lose this time!” Joe exclaimed.

Ch 4.
The next night they had a performance. McKail went on first and sang her heart out. She did exceptionally well, her best night yet.
“Wow, Kail, you did really good!” Kevin told her. They were getting their hair and makeup done.
“Yeah, that was awesome.” Nick said.
She immediately chugged a bottle of water in under 30 seconds, then went for another.
“Whoa, thirsty much?” Joe asked.
“Yeah.” she gasped.
Then it was time for the Jonas Brothers to make their entrance.
“Good luck!” McKail told them.
She was exhausted. Instead of watching the concert as she usually did, she passed out on the couch in her dressing room.
“McKail, wake up!” Nick said softly. He was sitting on the edge of the couch, shaking her gently. “Come on, we gotta go back to the bus.”
“Ok.” she said groggily. He helped her up and they went to the bus.
“Wow, I’m so thirsty! And I’m starving!” she exclaimed as she rummaged through the cupboards in the bus. She pulled out a box of cereal and got another bottle of water. She downed her cereal and water quickly, then had some more.
“Dang, girl, what’s the deal?” Joe asked, amazed.
“Nothing, I’m just super-hungry and I’m thirsty, ok?” she said, irritated.
“Ok, sorry.” Joe replied, weirded out. McKail was always so happy and fun. Something weird was going on.
So should i keep going?
