Living the Dream on the Soccer Field?
walked on to the field all nervous. It was the champion game in rec soccer. i have been playing soccer my whole life, but i never got the championship
game. i got in my spot and looked around to everyone. everyone was silent. just waiting for the game to start. i looked at the other team. there was this one kid. he was about 5 8 with brown curly hair and the most beautiful brown eyes i have ever seen.
"Hi, my name Kati." i said as i reached my hand out
"Hey, i am Nick.,he said back
i want to faint to the ground when he said that.
"I hope you do good today."
"yeah i hope so too. its my last game because i am to old for it now and its my first time in the champion game." he said
"omg. the same thing here. where do you go to school at?" i said
"i am home schooled and i go to a different town." he said
"oh that's why i never seen you before." i said
"yeah." he said
Then the whistle blew. the game started.I played the game like I never played a game before. i wanted to win this game. i have waited all my life to play in
this game and i finally had the chance. Half time came so fast. it felt like we only played for only 5 minutes but i played for 30 minutes. i looked over at nick.
he still looked amazing. Me on the other hand looked horrible. Well that what I thought.
the referee blew the wrestle and We did out little hand cheer
We don't wear no mini skirts,
We just wear our soccer shirts!
We don't play with Barbie dolls,
We just play with soccer balls!
We don't drink no lemonade,
We just drink our Gatorade!

We ran back on to field detrimend to win the game. The whistle blew and the 2ND half of the game.
There were only 2 minutes left on the clock. the score was 0-0. Nick had done so much. i looked at him on the sidelines. he looked like he knew that his
team wouldn't win. i felt so bad. i ran to the ball that Ashley passed me.
"Now kick it in!" She shouted, running despite her injured knee. She cast me a cold, almost uncaring look before passing the ball. "What…" i started but she interrupted. "It's your team. You do it."
Before dropping back and I took the shot. I took the shot and won. The whistle blew, the Nick team groaned with disappointment and the our team cheered. I smiled at her teammates.We always been the underdogs; now look at us.
"Hey, Nick great game. You did great." I said
"Yeah, Yeah. You did great too." he said
"thanks. i am glad that we go to play your team" I said
"Me too. Because i wouldn't meet a girl so pretty as you" he said
I started to blush.
"Thanks"
"Nick, come on. We have to get home." His mom said
"Coming. Umm here my number. Call or text me later." he said
"Here mine". I gave him my number
Thanks oh and keep an eye out for my brothers and I band. He said
Oh, OK. whats the name? I asked
Ummm...The Jonas Brothers. He shouted before he got in the car
OK. I will keep an eye out for it. I shouted as he drove away
I walked to my car just thinking about him
***3 years later***

They sang while I watched on the sidelines. I was so happy for Nick. And tonight was the 3 year anniversary that Nick and I eye first locked eyes. He was finally living his dream. I was by his side the whole step of his life. I was there when they played for only 50 people. I was there holding is hand and telling him that he is going to okay when he found out he had diabetes. Now I am here with him. They are playing a sold out crowd in their home town. this is all they wanted and now they have it. i couldn't be happier

They walked off stage. Joe and Kevin greeted their girlfriends with a big hug. Me on the other hand was crying. Nick just held me in his arms and kept me in there.
"Nick I love you. Every time you sing that song I cry." I said
"Well it was about you." he said
"I know but every time i hear it I cry" i said
"Come on lets go home."he said
We held hands and walked back on to the bus.
While walking to the bus we saw all the silver stars and just got even closer.
We got on the bus and fell asleep in each others arms. Just dreaming about each other.
