Chapter 5:
Later that night everyone was sitting around watching a movie. Typical night on tour, movie and popcorn. Kellie was sitting between Joe and Nick on the couch and Kevin was on the other side of Nick. Joe looked over at Kellie who seemed to be falling asleep sitting up. He slowly put his arm around her shoulders. Kellie looked up at him but he only smiled back. She rested her head in the nook of his shoulder and fell asleep.
“Joe…Joe wake up I need my bed back.” Joe slowly opened one eye to see Kevin standing over him. He looked around, Kellie was still snuggled into his shoulder and Nick had gone off to bed.
“Oh…sorry.” Joe said lifting Kellie and carrying her to their room. He gently set her down on the bed, slipped out of his button-up shirt and threw on a pair of basketball shorts and climbed in next to her. Joe lay in bed thinking of lyrics to a new song, only to realize they described what he was going through right now.
I’m sorry, for breaking all the promises I wasn’t around to keep.
It’s all me, this song is the last time I will ever beg you, to stay.

After saying the last line over and over again, Joe eventually fell asleep.
The next day was the first show of the new tour. The guys were getting themselves pumped from the minute they woke up. Kellie was sitting at the mini counter eating lunch, watching the boys film a youtube video. She couldn’t seem to take her eyes off of Nick.
He’s so cute! His laugh…those eyes…that smile.
A few hours later Big Rob came and told the boys they needed to start getting ready. Kellie grabbed her cell phone and followed Nick off the bus.
“So this is what you guys do everyday?” She asked gesturing to the parking lot already nearly full of cars and the huge theater in front of them.
“Yeah, pretty much.” Nick said.
“That’s pretty cool.” She responded following Nick to the theater.
The guys got changed into their outfits for the show, stretched out, and tuned up their instruments. Kellie sat by watching people run around from one side of the stage to the other making sure the lights and microphones were working correctly. She finally got up and walked to the boy’s dressing room.
“Come in.” Joe called when he heard her knock. Kellie walked in and sat down next to Nick on the couch.
“Hey.” He said with a smile.
“Hi.” Kellie said smiling back. Joe’s mouth dropped when he saw Nick start to flirt with her.
This is not happening.
