Alright here's the next chapter. I didn't get any more posts so I just decided to put this up...for Lauren! =]
Chapter One
I was sitting at the computer with Lilly over my shoulder. 9:55AM, tickets for the Jonas Brothers concert in Madison Square Garden went on sale at 10. I sat there refreshing the page where you buy the tickets to keep Lilly from yelling at me.
“IT’S 10 MOM!” She yelled 5 minutes later. I refreshed the page quickly, filled in “2” for the number of tickets and “best available” for seat location. I clicked Submit and waited for a response. Finally something popped up letting me know that there were tickets available, I quickly filled in my credit card number, our address and everything else that needed to be filled in and clicked Purchase.
“YES!” Lilly exclaimed jumping up and running around the house.
“WE GOT JONAS BROTHERS TICKETS!” She chanted. I looked at the information about where our seats were when it came up. I read the row.
Row A. I smiled, at least we were at the front of our section. But then I read what section we were in and my mouth dropped open.
Orchestra. Orchestra, as in floor seats, against the stage, front row.
“WE GOT FRON ROW SEATS?!” Lilly asked peering over my shoulder.
“Yes, we did Lilly!” I tried to sound excited. I turned around in my seat and saw the biggest smile on my daughter’s face. It made me happy to see her so excited.
“Lills, calm down the concert isn’t for five months!” I laughed.
“I know mom, but front row seats to my first Jonas Brothers concert!” That reminded me a little too much of my first Jonas Brothers’ concert. I had front row tickets and meet and greet passes. That was the day we met, the oldest Jonas and I. My friends and I were in line for the meet and greet, excitedly squealing with each step closer we got. We finally reached the table and the boys were even more gorgeous in person!
Flashback-
I was the last of my friends to greet the guys.
“Hi,” The first one said. I looked up and locked eyes with Kevin Jonas. I felt my insides nearly melted as he hugged me, and I couldn’t speak.
“Haha, we have a quite one here Joe!” He had said. Joe laughed and elbowed Kevin
“She’s also pretty,” I heard him whisper. Kevin blushed and I turned away. I continued down the table and greeted Joe and Nick then just as my friends and I were walking back into the arena I heard someone yell to wait. We turned around and saw Kevin walking over to us.
“I didn’t catch your name,” He said with a smile.
“I-Isabella,” I managed.
“Isabella, are you from around here?” I nodded, in shock. He handed me a tiny folded up piece of paper.
“Enjoy the show.”
“Thanks,” I smiled and walked back over to my friends whose mouths were all hanging open.
End flashback
I remember unfolding that piece of paper and reading off an email address, his email address. We emailed for a while then exchanged phone numbers. It was a long time until we saw each other again, but when we did, it was fate.
“Mommy, mommy are you okay?” I shook my head, coming out of my trance and smiled at Lilly.
“Yeah, I’m fine. I’m excited for you Lills!”
“Me too mommy!” She stood up and grabbed the phone calling her friends to tell them the news. I knew how excited she was, I was the same way even though I was about 10 years older than she was when I went to my Jonas Brothers’ concert. I sat there at the computer thinking about my past and all these things I thought I had long forgotten. But I guess even the little things are still those details I can’t tell Lilly, those secrets not forgotten.
