Dear Jo Bros,

So I know I’m going to sound like every other fan letter out there… But thank you. I really don’t think you know how many people you’ve touched. You’ve also touched people in ways you don’t even know.

Firstly Nick… Is it weird that I look up to you even though you’re younger than me? Well technically if we were to ever meet (which I high doubt will happen) I would literally look up to you because I’m so small… Ok back to being serious. I thought you were a pretty cool kid with an amazing voice, but then I heard a quote by you about you diabetes. It was something like “I kept asking myself why, and then I asked myself why not me?” For one that is very mature for a guy of only 16 years old. Secondly coming from a girl that was in and out of the hospitals a lot as a child, this hit me hard. Growing up I had nurses and doctors that were very supportive and an unbelievable family but really no one was there for me knowing what it was like. It just felt like without even knowing you I could relate to you because of your diabetes and all my health problems. I really respect you for wanting to help other children and people with diabetes. Also side note, I did work at a children’s hospital this summer hanging out with children who were there. It was an amazing experience and I’m trying to give back in any way I can. (You don’t know how many times I got asked… Do you like the Jonas brothers? Or have you seen camp rock? This summer all my students and the kids at the hospital love you!) Secondly I love ‘A Little Bit Longer’! The first time I heard it, I stopped everything I was doing and just listened as tears came to my eyes… Thank you! Thirdly, I’m sorry this is so long! Haha I tend to ramble… As you can see.

Joe… Again I love how I don’t know you yet on a crappy day you can bring a smile to my face. I seriously was in hysterics last night watching your fan letter video when you had a helmet on… If I have a bad day I go onto YouTube and watch videos, you bring a smile to my face. Ps you seem to be really good with kids which is so cute! Thank you!

Kevin… You (and your brothers) give me hope that there are good guys out there. And seriously what is with you not singing? Um please sing more! You seem like a pretty cool guy and a great older brother! Ps I love your style and I’m pretty taken by your handsome looks!

So yes your music and videos have helped me and also brought me closer with my younger cousins and students (yeah they’re pretty big fans), but also this website has helped me. I’ve talked to some of the nicest girls out there on this site. I’m apparently now a 20 year old mom! Haha! No but these girls have become my therapists and the people that make me laugh and get me through a hard time (Like midterms a few weeks ago… Gross!) So really it all comes down to two words… Thank you!

Dear Nicholas,

OMG, can I just tell you how much I am totally in love with you??? You are the most amazing person EVER, and I love you. I just know that if you were to meet me, you’d love me JUST as much as I love you, probably more. I don’t want to brag, but I’m a pretty amazing girl. Everyone tells me I am.

Also, I think we should do a duet together. I like to sing your songs all the time, and I think our voices would sound PERFECT together. I’m a very good singer too!!!

Anyway, enclosed is a picture of me. I think my hair looks too poofy, but my mommy says I look beautiful in it.

Oh, and some information about me. I’m 16 years old…just like you. I have a dog, just like you, only she’s a Husky and her name is Beauty. I tried to get my daddy to trade her in for the kind of dog you have, but he wouldn’t. But whatever. I got a car for my 16^th birthday, just like you. And, OMG, I’m sure when we meet, we will find we have everything else in common too!!!

I just love you so much, and I can’t wait until we meet, cause like I said before, I know you’ll just love me as much as I love you.

Kevin and Nick, I love you, but please stop using Joe’s iron on your hair. I mean, the straight hair look isn’t for everyone. Maybe you should learn to embrace that fact already.

Oh, and I seriously think that you should give me Joe a car next year… I mean, the motorcycle with the sidecar’s great, but how’s he going to impress the ladies if he ends up driving them along a smoke-congested highway on a motorcycle? And stop teasing him about his driver’s license. He’ll get it… eventually.
