Listen to the Exhortation of the Dawn!
Look to this Day!
For it is Life, the very Life of Life.
In its brief course lie all the
Verities and Realities of your Existence.
The Bliss of Growth,
The Glory of Action,
The Splendor of Beauty;
For Yesterday is but a Dream,
And To-morrow is only a Vision;
But To-day well lived makes
Every Yesterday a Dream of Happiness,
And every Tomorrow a Vision of Hope.
Look well therefore to this Day!
Such is the Salutation of the Dawn!

-Kalidasa

Zudit. YAY. Sequel. YES.

This is awesome. It's great so far; back to being gritty.

Question(s): What time period is this? And what country/continent is this taking place in? I'm kind of confused.

CONTINUE THIS. OR FACE THE WRATH OF... of ... MY WRITING SKILLZ. :P [which cannot compare to yours.]

P.S. are you still a zombie?

I'm still a zombie. They say once you go undead you never go back. But I have a vegetarian brain substitute at the heath food store. It's made from soy!

The time period is now. I know its a bit ambigious, but it's just because the story calls for it to be. It's hard to write this kind of story without having some resemblence to mid-century historical events (*cough*Holocaust*cough*). And this is America. You'd be surprised of the small towns that work like this in real life.

I love this so far. The first one moved me to tears and left me wanting more. And I can tell you at this moment, sitting in my room with tears silently sliding down my cheeks, this has left me wanting more.

Kudos.

Aw, I made you cry?
I feel both guilty and incredibly pleased at the same time.

Wait, what made you cry?

I didn't think these chapters were that sad. Just wait until chapter 17!  You'll bawl your eyes out. I totally did.
