OH the weather outside is frightfull
But the fire is soo delightful
Since we've no place to go
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
"Joe, its really coming down out there!" Priscilla said frightened.
It was a couple of days right before Christmas.
Joe and Priscilla were getting cozy.
With hot cocoa,warm blankets,popcorn, and a fire.
They were alone.
The family had gone out to finish gift shopping.
"Im worried for them. I hope they're careful," Priscilla continued.
"Don't worry Priss, they're fine," assured Joe.
The tree was up and lit in their home.
It was shining brightly
with some presents alreaddy underneath.
They were watching one of Priscilla's favorite holiday movies,
which was Home Alone. She loved the laughter.
Joe had his arms wrapped tightly around her.
She was in her pjs.
The house was dark and they were on the couch.
The snowflakes fell and they watched.
No longer paying attention to the movie.
They stared at the beauty of the falling snow.
They were silent only listening to their breathing.
"Joe why is the world at peace when it snows?"
"I'm not sure. I wished it was always this peaceful." he answered her question.
She looked up at him to see his face.
His eyes were soft, and sweet focused on the snow.
His features were radiant in the glow of the moon.
She admired him for as long as she could.
She treasured every moment that she stared.
He turned towards her.
Their eyes were locked,
both sets of eyes imminent of the peace in the room.
Joseph leaned in swiftly towards her.
She closed her eyes knowing what was about to happen.
She felt him brush the softest pair of lips
she had ever felt, and the only ones might I add.
Priscilla felt the peace, love, and joy within her.
His hands got tangled in her hair
and she wrapped the blanket around them.
They parted,
the neccesity of air being their only seperation.
He placed a curly strand of hair away from her face.
They stared at the moon that was gorgeous and beaming.
The movie had ended,
the fire was out,
the snow had stopped,
all was quiet,
and they fell asleep together,
right there on the couch.
