Prologue
Positive. Positive is usually a good thing. This wasn’t supposed to happen. Especially not to Mackenzie Hawthorn. She was the good girl. The girl who never messes up. She is the girl who withdrew from school to be homeschooled to pursue her dreams. And just as those dreams were starting to come true, a giant obstacle was here, staring her in the face, taunting her. Her perfect life was about to be shattered to pieces because of one mistake. This one was defiantly going to take some explaining. Oh boy did it need an explanation, to several people. Mackenzie tossed the test across the room as she slid down the wall and sat on the cold tile, with her head in her hands.
