So inspiration struck and I decided to write this story :)



The Substitute

Prologue:

I woke up at 4:23 am when I felt a tap on my shoulder. Groaning I turned over and opened one eye, blearily looking at the three year old boy standing at the side of my bed. Sighing I struggled to open both eyes and fully turned to look at the boy who had part of my heart, “What’s wrong Bailey?”

“Spence, I had bad dream,” Bailey said in a soft voice his expression terrified. I took a closer look and could see the tear stains on his cheek.

“Oh Bails, I’m sorry you had a nightmare. Do you want to come sleep with me in my bed?” I asked already knowing what the answer would be.

He nodded eagerly his brown curly locks jiggling around his head. I pulled him up into my arms and settled him down beside me. He snuggled into my shoulder and said, “I miss daddy Spence. When is he coming home?”

I closed my eyes in frustration. I didn’t know the answer to the question so I gave a generic answer that hopefully he would believe, “He’s coming home soon sweetheart. He is on tour right now with your uncles. We can call him tomorrow morning if you want to.”

Bailey nodded softly into my shoulder and snuggled even deeper before murmuring, “Night Spence.”

I leaned down to kiss his head softly and replied, “Goodnight Bailey James Jonas.”

BUMP! Who do you think Bailey's father is?

SO GOOD!

Hey Thanks for commenting girls :) I am planning on having chapter one up later tonight and it will go into detail about which Jonas is the dad and why he's not around!
