welcome to all of our readers, old and new :) we love comments here, by the way. especially long, funny ones. they make us laugh. :)
It all started with a college visit...
As a 16 year old junior, Katie obviously has no idea what she wants to do with her life. But she knows one thing: whatever she does, she wants to get as far away from her suffocating and overbearing parents as possible. So when she meets Amanda on a college visit to UNT, Katie recognizes her chance to finally break away from the sheltered life she’s lived. Not only does Amanda show Katie how to really have a good time, but she introduces her to Nick Jonas, who just happens to be her boyfriend Joe Jonas’s younger brother.
Katie and Nick instantly hit it off, but of course, Katie’s parents disapprove of the relationship. “He’s only in it for one thing,” was the phrase most commonly used, but Katie was determined to prove them wrong. Envious of the love that Amanda and Joe have for each other, Katie and Nick are thrown into a fight to be together- but when they finally get that chance, is it really going to be what they both want?
And then there’s Amanda and Joe, or in Katie’s opinion, the dream couple. They’re young, they’re in love, and to any outsider, everything looks just peachy. But these two lovebirds have their own issues afloat. While Amanda’s off living the college life, Joe is constantly disapproving of her partying, especially when it involves drunken boys. The two begin to question the trust they’ve built their sturdy relationship on, and start to question whether they’re right for each other, or whether they’re just wasting their time.
But no matter what the issue is for these young couples, they all know one thing-
the course of love doesn’t run smooth.
