"I love you," Nick's words seemed heavenly. "I love you more," I said, hoping to put up a fight about who love each other more. "Have you ever thought about us, later on?" Nick asked quietly. I felt him squeeze me tighter in his arms. "Yeah a little, have you?" I asked. "Yeah, what do you think about a big house?" Nick asked. "Amazing, like you," I mumbled into his t-shirted chest.
I fell asleep in his arms. My dream was the only part I didn't like. My old boyfriend that was now one of my really good friends was in it. I hate it when I have those kind of dreams. They bother me. It was like I was losing Nick and I was moving on. I didn't get it. Then again I never get my dreams. Like I remember the time I called Nick because I had a dream that I was getting flushed down the toilet by a monster.
I woke up and realized it was only 3 in the morning. "Great," I mumbled. I found myself stumbling down the hallway and down to the kitchen. I saw Joe. Dreamy Joe, my rockstar. "Hey," I said in a whisper. "Hey babe," Joe said smiling. "I missed you while you were gone," I said. "Me too a lot," Joe said hugging me. "Ahh Joe, I can't breathe," I squirmed. "Sorry," he said and let me lose.
"How are things with Nick and you?" Joe asked. I didn;t like the way he asked it. Then again we were standing in the dark. It made it awkward and I started to get feelings I never got before. For him. For Joe.
