We ran ahead of him and lead them all to my brothers Escalade.
“Woah nice ride,” said Kevin admiring the car.
My brother thanked him, “Guys this is Mitch my brother,” I said introducing them, and Mitch this is Joe, Nick, and Kevin.
We piled up into the car and the boys directed us to where we needed to go. The boys were telling us about the show they had just had.
“Nick messed up a word in Hello Beautiful,” Joe said making fun of him.
“I did that on purpose instead of saying I Hear it’s wonderful in California I said I know it’s wonderful in California since that’s where we are,” Nick said defending himself.
“Ohhh that’s why, my bad bro,” Joe apologized.
“Joe you shouldn’t even be talking, he’s not the one that went to splash the crowd with water and ended up throwing the whole bottle and hitting an innocent fan,” said Kevin.
“Aww poor girl, but hey I bet she didn’t really care, she’s got a great story to tell now and a souvenir to remember you by,” I said trying to make Joe feel better.
I looked over at Carri who was about to burst out laughing, and she let it out.
“I’m so sorry but I can’t help laugh, you hit an innocent girl with a bottle,” she said still laughing, and we all joined in.
Finally we pulled up to a club, “Umm Grace, isn’t that Jason’s car,” Carri said pointing to a black mustang.
I sighed, “Yup,”
The boys were confused, and we hurriedly explained about the breakup,
“I barely take this baby off,” I said admiring my ring.
“Do you guys want to come in with us?” I asked.
“Sure, that’d be fun,” they all answered.
“Thanks guys, I’m going to need some friends to get through this,” I said slightly smiling.
“We’re so sorry about him, if he causes you any trouble, we’ll stick up for you,” they said.
We headed inside and started dancing, the boys were showing us their moves and I was impressed. The song Crank Dat by soulja boy came on and me and carri taught the boys how to do the dance. We all laughed at Joe’s impression of soulja boy, and the boys were trying to act gangster. After a while we got thirsty and headed to the bar to get some sodas. (no alcohol of course lol)
“Oh look who it is,” I heard Jason say.
I turned around to see Jason standing with his arm wrapped around Hannah.
I rolled my eyes and walked off.
“Who was that?” Joe asked.
“Oh that was the one and only Jerk Jason and *CENSORED* Hannah,” I said angrily.
The boys laughed, “Good to know how you feel about them,” Kevin said laughing.
“Sorry,” I said laughing.
“Oh joy, here they come,” Carri said sarcastically.
“He wasn’t finished talking to you,” Hannah said smartly.
“Ohh, I’m sorry I didn’t hear anyone speaking,” I answered back.
“Sure whatever cough”virgin”cough,” Hannah said laughing.
“Hell no, Grace hold my earrings,” Carri said starting to take her earrings off.
I couldn’t help but laugh, but then turned back serious, “So when did staying pure become dumb and judgmental?” I asked.
“You know what?.. I didn’t love you, I only dated you for a bet to take your so called “purity” away,” Jason said putting quote signals around purity.
Everyone who had been listening was now laughing, besides the boys, carri, and a few girls I could tell felt bad for me. I could feel a tear sliding down my cheek and I looked up to see the boys standing next to me, the expressions on their face was oh so, not nice.
Things are about to get ugly up in here I thought to myself.
I saw my brother Mitch coming through the crowd, he must have noticed I was the reason for the laugh fest everyone was having.
“How could you do that to her?” Joe yelled at Jason.
“It’s easy, you pick a girl, make a bet, and go for it,” Jason said sarcastically.
“I can make a bet too, I pick you, I’m thinking $50, and I see you getting hit,” Nick answered back.
I was amazed to see Nick standing up for me like that, he started unbuttoning his shirt and only had his tank on.
“Nick we got your back” Joe, Kevin and Mitch said.
“Omg you’re really going to do this” I asked them.
“Yea I’m not letting him get away for doing that to you,” Nick said giving me a slight smile. Jason was also in his tank but now looked scared once he heard Joe, Kevin, and Mitch say they had Nick’s back.
“What’s wrong Jason? Are you scared,” I asked smiling.
In the distance we could hear sirens most likely coming to the club.
“Guys you can’t get caught here, we have to go,” I yelled to them.
“Looks like you were saved by the sirens,” Nick said hurrying to put his shirt on.
We all ran outside, Mitch jumped into the driver’s seat and we piled into the back.
Mitch took off and we were down the road before the cops stopped at the club. The boys were wired from almost getting into a fight, “Nick that was a good comeback man,” Joe said giving him a high five. “Yea I was impressed, and thanks for sticking up for me guys,” I said giving them all high fives.
“Hey do you all want to come over to our house and chill for a while,” my brother asked.
“Yea that would be sweet, but we have to ask our parents first,” Kevin answered.
The boys called up their dad and after some begging, the boys were allowed to go. We pulled up to my drive way and the boys complimented on how nice my house was.
“Guys were going to get changed into some comfortable clothes, so just feel free to roam the house if you want,” I told them.
Me and Carri ran upstairs to my bedroom and got changed into some shorts and shirts. I threw my hair into a messy bun, “This is so cool, we’re actually hanging with the Jonas Brothers,” I said excited.
“I know and it was sweet of them to stick up for you, but too bad they couldn’t have beaten up Jason,” Carri said pulling her hair up into a bun.
“Carri I have the greatest idea…change of plans so that calls for a change of clothes, put some black on,” I informed her.
“Wait..Why?” she asked confused.
“Payback,” I smiled.
We changed into some black leggings, black t-shirts, and black fitted caps, and walked down the stairs. The boys all looked at us, “Robbing a bank?” Joe asked laughing.
“You never know with her she could be,” Mitch said seriously.
“No I’m not robbing a bank, but were getting payback,” I said proudly.
