So this one shot doesn't incorporate the JB at all! I just found a song that relates to an event I'm going through, and the words started flying off the page! lol This oneshot, is a songfic to the song: "Invisible" by: Taylor Swift.
She cant see the way your eyes light up when you smile.
she'll never notice how you stop and stare whenever she walks by.
and you cant see me wanting you the way you want her
but you are everything to me
and I just wanna show you
she dont even know you
shes never gonna love you like I want to
and you just see right through me
but if you only knew me
we could be a beautiful miracle unbelievable, instead im just invisible
I stared across the room at him. He was looking at her while she danced on the floor. She swayed her hips to the song. Ever since she came along, he's forgotten I even existed. I took a sip of my punch. I glared at her on the dancefloor. She walked to his side. He couldn't look away. He nodded, smiling. His eyes lit up, with delight, and walked toward the punch bowl. I turned to face him, as he stood next to me, getting a cup of punch. "Could you pour me a cup?" I asked, handing my cup to him. He took it without a response. "Thanks." I said. He didn't say anything again. He just walked away, after he gave me my cup back, not meeting my gaze.
theres a fire inside of you
that cant help but shine through
shes never gonna see the light
no matter what you do
and all I think about is how to make you think of me
and everything that we could be
It was exactly two days later, when I saw him holding her books for her at school. She just smiled solemnly and rolled her eyes. I stared at them from my locker. As they walked past, I accidently dropped my books in front of her. "Dammit!" I said. "What did you just do, dumba**?" She screamed at me. "Sorry." I muttered as I bent down to pick up my books. He knelt down and handed me the sheets of music I had written for the guitar. He handed them to me, skimming over it. "Nice work. It's amazing." Was all he said, before walking away at her heels.
and I just wanna show you
she dont even know you
shes never gonna love you like i want to
and you just see right through me
but if you only knew me
we could be a beautiful miracle unbelieveable,
I plopped onto the tiled floor, I felt a tear drop onto the sheet of music he had looked over. I read the lyrics over. He had no idea how much I loved him. Even though it broke my heart to see him at her side, I was willing to let her have him. Even though she was just using him as a monkey, he could learn that on his own. I just wished that he saw me, and tried to know me. If I wasn't invisible to him, he'd know I was musically talented, I was in all his classes, I was on the school cheerleading squad, and I was madly in love with him. But he didn't see any of that. All he saw was a faint shadow, dissolving into nothing. He didn't see the love, the heartbreak, or anything.
instead i'm just invisible...
The END!
