ok so heres the first chapter, i hope you like it!
Chapter 1:
"You are completely unpredictable. You might as well carry a five sided die (or six, depending on who's counting) around in your pocket to hasten decision-making. Too bad you didn't even know they made five sided dice. Go play a sport." Ashley said with a wink at Joe.
"You fit all that on a forune teller...?" Joe said, trying to peek around it.
"Hey!" She cried, playfully biting his hand.
"Alright everyone, sit down and try not to talk so much it hurts my head... again." Our english teacher, Anna, said as she walked in.
Ashley winked at Joe and headed back to her seat. He siged slightly as he looked after her. Although noone else seemed to notice, she hungout with everyone in the class in the mornings an equal amount of days. They all practically took turns. But considering Ashleys might-as-well-be-motto is "Life not fair, but we can do our best to try" it should be more obvious.
They all had Anna for two periods: English & Social studies, one after another, right in the morning. English went by quickly, and Anna allowed them to take a break before they came back for social studies.
The second Ashley walked outside the classroom she headed straight toward -
Nope, not her best friends, Jay & Manda.
Not the popular click.
She walked right up to the biggest nerd in school, Raymond.
They were practically dating. Not officially, of course, but they hung out together so much it might as well be true. Everyone also knows that he has asked her out, but she responded the same way she responded to every guy in the school when they had asked her out:
"Wow! I'm extremely flattered, *enter name here*, but imagine what would happen if we were to break up! We are friends now, but if we break up then it will be so akward and weird for us, and I don't want anything to happen to our friendship."
Now, your probably wondering, what is the coolest girl in school, whos been asked out by every single guy in the school, doing with the AV dweeb. To be honest, noone had any idea. The best theory anyone could come up with was: He was such a dork, and had so little friends, that she made up for it by hanging out with him.
Any other girl in school would have gone out with the coolest, hottest, or richest guy in school. But everyone was fairly sure she had never had a boyfriend. And all just because she wanted to be fair.
"Hey, Joe!" Audrey said. She was another girl in Ashley's english class, and she was an Ashley wanna-be. Just in case you missed one of Ashley's outfits - and it's pretty hard to miss them, they're always so cool and never worn the same way twice - you can catch something similar on Audrey the next day. She tried to talk to Ashley alot, but when she couldn't, she talked to whoever Ashley had talked to that day.
"Hi, Audrey." Joe said tiredly. Audrey didn't have the easy-going, perfect-without-trying vibe Ashley had. She had more of a she-did-this-so-maybe-I-should-too.
Joe and Audrey both looked in the direction Ashley and Raymond were standing in. Aparently, one of the football jocks had pushed/made fun of Raymond and was getting a telling-off from Ashley. But instead of backing off like they normally do under her glare he actualy pushed her. A push that would've sent most people flying, but Ashley stood her ground, and boy was she mad. Everybody else in the hallway (and by lunch, in the school) was mad too. She grabbed him by his hood and tossed him into his classroom, which was aparently right across from hers, like he was a ragdoll. It was silent for a moment. Then the bell rang and everyone ran back to their classrooms.
"What was that about?" Joe heard Audrey ask Ashley. She shook her head. Aparently she was fumed about the guy who she later found was beat up the next break.
Not only was she a srong character, she was strong phisically.
See why she was so awsome?
